Seriously, is this a joke! As a black South African I have witnessed my relatives, friends and even general aquaintances starving, suffering, battling to live with no homes, meds, education, etc.

Yet idiots like Mozet, Piri & Ngwane (claiming to be proud black SA citizens) turn their backs on the true needs of our people? You moan about a NAME, while our people are dying like flies?

You try and justify that wasting this money on changing names is better than spending it on feeding, educating, clothing and housing our people? Are you blind or just stupid and ignorant? You point fingers at “colonials” - yet, YOU are actually the problem.

Do you walk to work/school? Do you hunt and eat your kill like our forfathers did? Do you live in mud huts or “colonial” houses? Do you own a cellphone? Funny, because in T/Kei where I come from, we would shout across the hills and sing our messages. Yes, you want everything the whities have, but you want to call it your own? Taking things “by force” does not make them yours. Slithering into the muck .....

The Blogger Almighty, bored , perched in front of a huge plasma TV (a device approx. 40 million flat nosed aids infected upstanding citizens of arsezania cannot afford or operate) sit surfing thru the whole myriad of DSTV channels, he finally stumbled onto one of the shittiest channels on arsezanian TV fondly referred to by the racist flat noses as SABC 2. What really made both his eyes jump into one socket was to see a YT presenter dude on a program called 50/50. He was amazed that this poor oak is still employed by the SABC being a white male 40 plus?

This television programme has for twenty-four years presented the successes and disasters of conservation to arsezania’s people. The last 15 years depicted all the monumental environmental screw ups made by the incompetent nose scratching boons in charge of public and environmental affairs.

50/50 has influenced environmental policy, stirred the public against environmental injustices, promoted the work of our dedicated conservationists, and helped to create a stronger awareness of conservation and environmental issues in arsezania. (All to a lost cause I might add! How do you reason with creatures with shit for brains? They are only interested in taking from the YT and driving around in snazzy beamers and pumping copious amounts of KFC into their already fat stinking black asses on a daily basis!)

To make a short story long, this (nearly extinct) YT dude called Johann Botha was showing arsezania what has become of the water status in the West Rand area of Jo’burg (bobbejaansberg). For those not so familiar with the West Rand, it is renowned for its gold mines, and is always referred to as the Gold fields of arsezania. If you drive thru this area, you will just see huge mine heaps and mining activity everywhere you look.

In 1994 when fuckwit de klerk sold out the YT in arsezania, the boons immediately forced their way into the ownership of these mines being the honey pot of arsezanian trade and industry, and the arena where the big bucks were flying around. Now as we all know, it only takes a short while for these porch monkeys to piss off the YT to such an extent that they take their shit and go, leaving Sipho in charge of a ticking TIME BOMB!

14 years down the line, and voila, the WHOLE of the West Rand water supply is now faaacked right thru to the underground aquifers! This makes it virtually impossible for human or animal to carve a living out of the poisoned land. This is all due to mismanagement by the numb skull greedy misunderstood indigenous sub human murdering mindless necromancers allowing radioactive poisonous chemicals to enter the natural water system thru overextended mining activity without any responsibility or environmental controls whatsoever. (Did I mention numb skull in there?)

I nearly choked on my whiskey when the YT dude interviewed a black supremest called Joseph. Joseph is a specialist security guard protecting a highly infected radioactive area with high barbed wire fencing and HUGE signs declaring the area RADIO ACTIVE with the standard international yellow Radio Active tri-angle signs. Joseph is housed INSIDE the “protected” area in a fiber glass one seater guarding house listing all day long to a static crackling of an old 2 way radio with noises emitting from a control room somewhere who cannot give a shit a non the less.

After the 50/50 presenter Johann had a struggle for about half an hour to convince Joseph to take his finger out his nose, he asked him the trillion dollar question (I was waiting for this in shivering anticipation):

“Joseph, do you understand what the “Radio Active” signs mean?”

Joseph responded with:

“Eish … I am wherring da too way radio, it means da radio she is always Active”

I kid you not! Seriiiiiaaaauus….. ! Is there anybody out there that witnessed this?

After Johann (the soon to be extinct presenter) and his camera crew showed images of environmental destruction to a scale of mammoth proportions, they flipped back to the studio to chat to a bullshitter spokesman from the National Nuclear Regulator.

Here is the transcript from 50/50:

Johann:
Well, that was Part 1 of our water story. Next week we look at the East Rand and Mpumalanga and all the problems there. As you can see, there are many problems with our water. Many of these issues are addressed next week when we have someone from Department Water Affairs in the studio with us. But tonight we would like to concentrate on the radio activity and the uranium specifically on the West Rand.

And that’s why we’ve invited Orion Philips to the studio. He’s the Executive Senior Manager: Nuclear Technology and Natural Sources from the NNR – that’s the National Nuclear Regulator.

Orion, welcome in the studio.

Orion:
Thank you, Johann.

Johann:
You’ve seen the insert. What are your comments?

Orion:
Johann, first of all, I’d like to tell you that, specifically, with regards to the NNR’s mandate, we specifically look at biological contamination. From that point of view, we are confident that from the studies we have done, and assessments we have done, are giving us good results in terms of how we understand the contamination problem in the spruit.

Johann:
How serious is the problem?

Orion:
Specifically from a radiological point of view, there is no immediate problem to members of the public.
When one talks about risk with regard to whether it could lead to a health problem, it’s not very certain, so I cannot say definitely it would lead to a problem because the assumptions are very

Johann:
Now, your mandate is to look after the safety of the people when it comes to radioactive materials, sites, areas,
pollution, etc. So would it not be ideal, then to rather reach a situation where, instead of saying we cannot say with finality that it is causing problems, to say, we can say with finality that it is not causing problems.

Orion:
Johann, I think that one has to remember that when we make statements, that we have to base it on sound technical judgement as well as good data. The challenge is for us to make statements with regard risk to use very good data and good assumptions, and all the assumptions that we have now, indicate that the risk is at a very low level when it comes to radiological contaminants.
Johann:
A lot of the results that we have looked at in many of the reports in the 1 000’s of reports done, seem to indicate that the levels of pollution are a lot higher than acceptable levels given to us by the people who make the regulations.

Orion:
Yes, but however, as we go along, we realise that when we look at the contaminant, the contaminant is both chemical and radiological. When one specifically focuses on the radiological aspect of the contaminant, the contaminant is definitely within the international standards of safe consumption.

Johann:
Why have no studies been done to actually look at the link between health problems and these pollution problems?

Orion:
The NNR is in the process of commissioning an epidemiological study that will look at the linkage between the water and the contaminants in the environment and the effects that it has on health.However, again, one must remember that for such studies, you need reliable data, and you typically need to conduct this study
over a long period of time to come up with some very good, sound conclusions.

Johann:
We go around, we hear stories about people dying of cancer, cattle dying, aborting; all sorts of strange things happening. People on the ground are concerned. What is happening there? What is happening with our water? And yet, all the time we hear, another study is being commissioned, another study is being commissioned. What is going to happen and how long will it take before we see action?

Orion:
The National Nuclear Regulator has established a national steering committee on assisting with all the relevant organs of state, which is DWAF, the Department of Minerals and Energy, DEAT, and we are sitting together in a forum of regulators that will take an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to the problem and specifically the outcome of the steering committee is to have a remediation plan. And this remediation plan will be used to clean up the contaminated areas.

Johann:
The bigger the amount of people involved in this, the longer it will take in the way that bureaucracy works. Now, in the meantime those people are still living there on a day to day basis. Aren’t you supposed to, according to your first report, also to look at short term, as well as medium term and long term solutions?

Johann:
Now, let’s look specifically at Joseph sitting there in his guardhouse in the middle of this radioactive hotspot, identified by you guys. He’s watching the show tonight. Can you look him in the eye and tell him, “Joseph, you’re fine. We’ve got a commission going. It’s going to take a while, but in the meantime, you’re safe. You don’t have a chance of getting cancer from the dust blowing at you from the tailings dam or from the sediment you are sitting working in.” Is Joseph safe?

Orion:
I think that one has to understand that if Joseph is sitting in an area that’s contaminated, first of all the contamination is low level risk and depending on what Joseph does while he’s sitting there, it could have certain effects, however, the effects are not appreciable, they are just not significant because the risk is low, the contamination is low level contamination.

Johann:
If there is no risk, if there isn’t a high enough level of contamination to talk about, why go to the trouble of cleaning out the area, fencing it off, putting the radioactive warning signs up?

Orion:
Because of the potential risk. One must remember, over a period of time, over a long period of time, there could be manifestations of health effects, not necessarily cancer, but there could be a manifestation of health effects.

Johann:
He could get sick.

Orion:
One has to be very careful when you speak about incidence of cancer, cancer from radiation or from radiological contaminants.

The linkage between cancer from radiological contaminants to humans is not very well established…

Johann:
Because the studies have not been done.

Orion:
We are presently doing the study. I think what we decide at the National Steering Committee is that this study is not another study, it’s a study that will finally characterise most of the radiological contaminants in the spruit, together with the chemical contaminants, and essentially, the studying of the site characterisation plan, will be a remediation action plan and strategy to remove all the contaminants from the spruit, and…

Johann:
By when?

Orion:
Yes, one has to realise again that the spruit is a vast area and the contaminants as they are dispersed in the environment, are dispersed in different ways. For example, there are slimes, there are water bodies, surface areas that are contaminated and there are wetlands. So you have to apply different strategiesand different technologies to remediate these various occurrences in the environment.

Johann:
Now, let’s look at the longer term. Joseph’s been there for two years, he may be there for another 18 years. You say he’s safe. I’m not too sure, but in the long term, when the mines get abandoned, when they close down…
we haven’t had a mine yet with a successful closure certificate in this country, when the decanting starts happening all over?

Orion:
Yes, the closure process, Johann,also involves all the different organs of state and at that stage I wouldn’t like to comment and pre-empt what’s going to happen with closure, but all the organs of state sit together and come up with an integrated plan for closure and part of the plan will be to be sure that any radiation activity in the environment is removed from the environment and that would be the role of the National Nuclear Regulator to ensure that, as part of closure, no contamination is left in the environment.

Johann:
What about the pollution in the underground aquifers? I mean these are our future water reserves and we don’t even know what the levels of pollution in those aquifers are. How are we going to purify the polluted water that our children will need to live on?

Orion:
Our last directive that we sent to the mines required them to do ground water sampling. Prior to that we studied some records of ground water sampling and again, when we look at the concentrations of uranium in the ground water it is not significant.

Johann:
Well, unfortunately, we’ve run out of time. So, Orion, thanks for coming into the studio.

Orion:
Thank you, Johann.

Johann:
Let’s hope that this time it isn’t just going to be just another study that will land on shelf somewhere and that it will lead to action and that it is not too late to save our water for our future consumers.

And remember that we hope to have someone from the Department of Water Affairs in the hot seat with us next week.

In the meantime, professor Terence McCarthy, of Wits’ School for Geosciences, last week asked that a moratorium be placed on the 300+ applications or new coalmines particularly in our large rivers’ catchment areas, specifically because mining is destroying our water resources.

Companies sued for involvement in apartheid

A class action lawsuit has been filed in a New York court against five multi-national companies which allegedly assisted the apartheid government.

Barclays Bank, the Ford Motor company, Daimler Chrysler, General Motors and IBM are facing legal action, instigated by two local law firms in conjunction with Harvard Law School.

The allegations range from actively working with the, then, South African government to suppress anti-apartheid movements to torture and degrading treatment.

The lawsuit seeks financial compensation.

John Ngcebatsha, a senior partner involved in the lawsuit, says the companies could have avoided the legal action by applying for amnesty from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

“It is a great opportunity for them to account and for the victims to be able to gain the benefits which would be used to redress the past imbalances,” said Ngcebatsha.

Welcoming our new bloggers

In recent weeks we've lost a few of our key contributors, for reasons stated in my Fat Lady post of a few days ago. SA Sucks have spawned numerous spin-off blogs run mostly by our detractors - people who go bezerk especially at the sight of decapitated black babies, since this causes massive cognitive dissonance in their twisted, boon-loving minds. Instead at projecting their anger at the savage beasts who do these heinous things on a daily basis, they instead choose to project their anger at the bloggers who expose these shocking, animalistic deeds. "Shooting the messenger" and launching vicious personal attacks is their preferred MO.

I won't dignify these carrion-eating hyenas by mentioning their puke-splattered blogs, not because their third rate blatherings trouble me in the least, but mainly because these parasites are desperate to feed off the traffic SA Sucks generates. There has been much joy and celebration on these cyber-sewers in the past week, as they labour under the delusion that their harassment of SAS contributors has somehow paid off.

The unpalatable truth for them unfortunately is that we on SA Sucks are not the last remnants of a bygone era - we are in fact the first of a new political dawn - a new Zeitgeist which is growing rapidly around the world. Every day, people all over the world are waking up from their media-induced slumbers and throwing off the chains of political correctness. The pendulum is slowly but unmistakeably swinging from the Marxist liberalist sentiment, to a more conservative and racially aware position.

White people around the globe are sick to death of endlessly being excoriated as oppressors, racist monsters and slaves to parasitic mud races who in every country they infest, corner the market on criminality, corruption, sleaze and filth. An unmistakable racial awakening is taking hold, and to this end, we at SAS are fortunate to have a virtually limitless pool of highly talented, intelligent and dedicated writers to fill the void left by stalwarts like Raven, Doodler, Eli and others.

Since the weekend I was inundated by readers wanting to join us as contributors, and as you can see, we have three new bloggers. I extend a warm welcome to Davina the Hog, Albeus Cogito Sum (Albeus is Latin for White Man) and Lone Wolf and hope you will enjoy their posts.

We at SAS are, in spite of our detractor's malediction, not knuckle-dragging, Zieg Heiling white trash. Our readership consists overwhelmingly of decent, intelligent and highly educated White men and women disillusioned by the shocking disintegration of our once lovely country. Very few of us have held the beliefs and positions we occupy today, five or ten years ago. Most of us are decent, law-abiding people who have been driven through circumstances and horrifying new realisations to re-analyse our belief systems and revise them accordingly.

Many of us have lost dear friends, colleagues, family members in the most unimaginably cruel and callous crimes, or have been victims of rampant black criminality through no fault of our own, save for the crime of wearing a White skin. Most of us have reached the point where no amount of wishful thinking or wanton self-delusion can deny that we are being victimised exclusively because of our race. South Africa of 2008 has become the focal point of a ruthless race war being waged on our heritage, our culture, our morality and our very existence. Since 1994 and prior to that, we have bent over backwards to appease this racist anti-White monster.

Having come to the realisation that nothing but our utter demise will satisfy these insatiable demands for our ethnic extinction, those amongst us with backbone and integrity have straightened up and are starting to fight back. Emboldened by new-found pride in the magnificent achievements of our creed, we are making a stand. It might be our Last Stand, but most people realise it it better to die fighting, than to live on our knees like eternal slaves.

Since the inception of this blog, it has continually been the message for Whites to regroup in predominantly White, First World countries. We have never incited anyone to violence against any other racial groups, nor have we in any way attempted to foment hatred against other races.

SA Sucks have brought you uncensored news and have focused on exposing the mind-numbing cruelty and savagery Whites are exposed to on a daily basis. If lifting the veil on a race war is a racist act in itself, then we have to plead Mea Culpa.

We moderate comments on this blog, and the greatest irony is that the vast majority of comments which are rejected are those who incite violence, murder and criminality. We have comments describing in minute detail how to manufacture explosives, concoct poisonous chemicals to be put into water supplies and the like. While I fully understand and even sympathise with some people harbouring extremist sentiment, I cannot allow such comments to appear here.

If reading about how black men cut off the fingers of an old, defenceless woman with pruning scissors, or rape 6 month old babies so badly that their entrails hang out of their anuses, or torture White women, children and old men with boiling water, dripping burning plastic on their tender skins or burning them with hot clothes irons for hours on end before eventually murdering them makes you realise what we are dealing with, and this in turn evinces a dislike in our tormentors, your reaction is perfectly normal and reasonable and you have NOTHING to feel ashamed of. The only ones who should feel any shame are these sub-human beasts, who by no accident or fluke are 99.9 percent black and by implication seem incapable of feeling shame, guilt or any sense of culpability.

Even more shameful are the white people who fall over their feet to diminish, camouflage, excuse or justify this savage behaviour. People like Rooster, Catto and their ilk who make it their mission to tell Whites they and their precious children deserve to be cruelly tortured, raped and murdered.

The rumblings of urban war?

Dear readers, I have taken note of your comments to the Fat Lady post, and I was deeply touched and moved by your concern for my safety. I apologise for not having replied to the numerous comments and well wishing, this was mainly due to time constraints. I would be a fool and idiot for not admitting that I am indeed concerned about my safety - not so much my own personal security, but rather that of my family. Ever since I started blogging here, I have on a daily basis received death threats from sicko perverts who describe in nauseating detail what they will do to my family. In recent weeks this has reached a crescendo, aimed not only against myself but also against my fellow bloggers.

I was attacked a few days ago by a gang of three blacks who attempted to poison my dogs and were able to breach my security systems. Fortunately I had some secondary systems in place and were alerted to their presence. I responded by putting down a curtain of hot lead, and these cowardly jungle bunnies hoofed it. Since I do not employ a maid, it wasn't an "inside job" as it usually is. I can put it down to a random, opportunistic attack, but the remote possibility remains that it can be related to this blog.

My neighbourhood has in recent weeks experienced an astronomical increase in house attacks. All around me the electric fences, razor wire and beams are going up at such a rate that retailers and suppliers of these things cannot stay ahead of demand. This is happening not only in the Northern suburbs where I live, but all around the country. Exasperated home owners are spending a fortune in security, yet the boons are finding new ways to circumvent it. My electric fence was somehow shorted out, rendering the alarm useless. The intruders then used two foot-long sticks to prop up the bottom strand, and slipped over my 6 foot wall. Luckily I had wireless motion sensors which triggered a muted alarm alerting me to their presence. A neighbour had them tunnelling underneath his wall, while yet another had a huge hole bashed into his face brick wall over a period of days. Another had his beams smashed to pieces but luckily this triggered his alarm. In every case, an attempt was made to poison the dogs.

With my incident, the flatnoses took corned meat (bully beef) and saturated it with "Two-Step", sold under the name Temik which is such strong poison that five granules is sufficient to kill a 100 kg man. As you can see on the pics, the tiny black dots in the meat is the poison. We took this to the local vet the next day for verification and he confirmed it was "Two-step" - so called because if a dog ingests it, it gives two steps before falling down dead. The vet also said that they were treating several cases a day of poisoned dogs, and he has never seen things this bad. It usually reaches a peak just before Easter and Christmas whereafter it subsides, but he too said this year is absolutely unprecedented.

As an aside - I took a walk in my neighbourhood. Not too far from my house is an open veld, and what we found there was shocking. Black vagrants are living there in make shift camps, human excrement is scattered everywhere - without exaggeration I can honestly tell you I could hardly put my foot down an not step on a turd.

What sickened me most, was finding the remains of cats and dogs - these disgusting shit skins are setting traps for domestic animals in the veld (or stealing them from homes) killing them and then eating them. One section of this piece of veld looked like a pet cemetery. I took a pic of what appears to be the hind leg of a white cat - the foot is still attached complete with claws and foot cushions, but the rest of it has been nibbled off and looks like a KFC thigh bone. When driving in the neighbourhood I have often smelled something which reminds of burning meat, except that it has a sickening, acrid smell to it. Now I know what the source of this was...

Especially the Kameeldrift area in Pretoria is under siege - they have had ten violent house invasions in the past six days. Several Whites were murdered and young girls raped. Last night the terrified community held an emergency meeting at the local NG church, and as usual the cops are completely disinterested.

Every year around this time we see an increase in crime in the runup to Christmas, but I can honestly say this year is unprecedented - so much so that police are now delegating a great deal of their functions to private security companies (as reported by us a few days ago). My take is that the current political instability and the Zuma gang's ascendancy is adding to what is becoming a de facto war. Sure, blacks living in former White areas are also being robbed and burgled, but they are not being murdered and tortured anywhere near the levels Whites are.

I hate to sound alarmist but this might just be the beginning of something far more sinister and ominous, and would like to solicit readers comments on this issue. Going back to my own situation of a few days ago - I am convinced that the gang who attacked me will return, maybe in the next few days, perhaps within the next month or so. I'll be ready for them.

Loyal readers have commented on looking out for my own safety, and depending on which way the wind blows in the next few weeks, it might just be wise to heed this advice. If this happens, we fortuitously have new blood on SAS who will take the baton and run with it. I won't be in this country for much longer but as promised earlier, I refuse to be cowed by traitors and liberalist white scum who act as the Judas goats for their own kith & kin's demise.

Lastly and most importantly, I feel deeply indebted to you, dear reader. Had it not been for the amazing support and loyalty you’ve shown us, this blog would have been deep-sixed long ago. I salute you for being cognisant of the unspoken genocide being perpetrated against us. You are heroes and heroines in the face of great adversity – modern day heretics whose enemies wishes to burn us at the stake. Thank you for having the fortitude and backbone to recognise the humiliating injustices, slander and libel we Whites suffer daily.

We have one duty only, and that is to our children, In this regard, I leave you with the immortal words of David Lane:

There – I said it. I’ll say it again because no amount of social taboo, political correctness, nanny banging and black arse kissing is going to stop me saying what I feel and think – I hate kaffirs!!

What’s more, I’ll bet I’m expressing the sentiments of a whole lot of other people who think and feel exactly the way I do but won’t say so for the aforementioned reasons.

I hate them because they murder gratuitously.

I hate them because no life form holds any value for them.

I hate them because if every now and again, if a white harms a kaffir it’s racism but when kaffirs murder, rape, torture, pillage and plunder white people it’s to address “past imbalances.”

A pregnant white woman was rushing from one state hospital to the next state hospital (a total trip of arond 200 kilometers without being admitted - when she eventually arrived at the third one, she gave birth within minutes of her arrival.

When the politician in charge of Health, one aptly named Fish Mahalela, was questioned about it, his response was that if it was really an emergency, she would have given birth on the floor, which elicited a great deal of laughter. from his fellow ANC politicians.

Nelspruit - First a fraud charge. And now at least 10 traffic offences.
These are the alleged charges against Brigadier General Lulu Siwisa, head of the South African Military Health Service's Aids programme.
She was recently caught in Nelspruit with an allegedly forged driver's licence.
On October 21 Siwisa was stopped at a roadblock in her BMW X3 on the N4 at Schagen outside Nelspruit.
Traffic officers became suspicious about her driver's licence, which they subsequently found was not valid.
They told her she was not allowed to continue driving. A colleague who was travelling with her, was asked to take the wheel and report to the Nelspruit traffic department immediately.
However, they allegedly never arrived there.
A case of fraud was opened against Siwisa at the Nelspruit charge office.
The allegedly forged licence was handed over to the police, David Nkambule, spokesperson for the Mpumalanga traffic authorities, had said earlier.
During the past week the police took a cautionary statement from Siwisa in Pretoria.
Traffic offences
Police spokesperson Inspector Dawie Pretorius said the investigation of Siwisa had been concluded and the case would now be referred to the public prosecutor for a decision on whether to prosecute or not.
An investigation conducted in the past week revealed that Siwisa also seems to have a rather heavy foot on the accelerator pedal.
Apparently she has accumulated no fewer than 10 traffic offences in her luxury BMW, most of them captured on speed camera.
The first of the alleged offences took place in July 2006, barely four weeks after she bought the BMW.
The highest speed she clocked was allegedly in May this year when she was captured on camera doing 131km/h in a 70km/h zone on Rivonia Road, Johannesburg.
A reliable source has also confirmed that Siwisa:
got her learner's licence on 25 September 2002;
has never gone for her driving test and that the learner's licence has in the meantime lapsed;
went for driver training at an army unit and arrived at work with a driver's licence only days later; and;
made a new appointment for a learner's licence in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
Role model
Siwisa said in an interview in November 2005 her dream was to be "a role model for people to look up to".
Regarding the fraud charge against her, she told Beeld on Wednesday: "I didn't pay a cent for the driver's licence. The law must take its course."
When asked about the traffic fines, her reaction was: "The traffic department had the wrong address for me. This has been corrected.
"I only know of one fine which I got earlier this month."

U.S. authorities have confirmed that a "brief scuffle" took place in the Oval Office of the White House yesterday morning after South African leader Jacob Zuma asked to be handed his machine gun during a meeting with President George W. Bush. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is reportedly "flustered but fine" after being used as a human shield.

Zuma, the president of the ruling African National Congress, is currently on a visit to the United States where he is trying to reassure foreign investors that they will not be put in a pot, boiled and eaten if they come to South Africa.

According to White House spokesman Chuck Norris the scuffle allegedly broke out while Zuma and Bush were exchanging traditional greetings.

"President Bush had just finished demonstrating how to rope a steer and was removing the lasso from around Secretary Rice's shin, when Mr Zuma broke into song," said Norris.

He confirmed that the song had been Zuma's war-cry, 'Awlethu Mshini Wam'.

He said Bush had been captivated and had complimented Zuma on the "crazy Afro jive and pumping tribal rhythms".

The President had then asked what "Awlethu mshini wam" meant.

When told it translated as "Bring me my machine gun", Bush reportedly stopped kneeling on Rice's neck and hauled her up in front of him as a human shield.

Norris said that Bush's Secret Service minders had finally persuaded him to release the Secretary of State by briefly rendering him unconscious with a Vulcan sleeper grip to the neck.

However, he said, Bush remained indignant after coming to, telling Zuma that "going all jungle fever might wash with Obama but there's still a white man in this office, you dig?"

Once order had been restored the two leaders discussed the international financial crisis, at which point Bush reportedly offered to buy South Africa with the money in his wallet. He apologized for not being able to pay more for the country but explained he had spent $10 on a pizza the night before and hadn't been to an ATM yet.

However Zuma declined, saying that cash transactions "always ended in tears with shredded faxes and unpleasant and hurtful recriminations".

The meeting ended cordially with an exchange of official gifts, said Norris. He confirmed that Bush had given Zuma some beaver pelts, copper beads and a musket with the firing pin removed, while Zuma gave the American president a pass for the 2006/07 season at uShaka Marine World in Durban.

Johannesburg - Finance Minister Trevor Manuel has warned against adopting leftist policies after next year's elections and said the current global turmoil had introduced vulnerabilities to the economy.
"We need to disabuse people of the notion that we will have a mighty powerful developmental state capable of planning and creating all manner of employment," he told the Financial Times in an interview published on Tuesday.
"It may have been on the agenda in 1994 but it could not be delivered now. The next period is likely to see a lot more competitiveness in the global economy.
The ruling ANC and its allies pledged after an economic summit two weeks ago to create 5m jobs by 2014, to slash unemployment still high at around 23%.
Labour and communist voices have become influential within the ANC since they helped to elect Jacob Zuma to the party's presidency.
The powerful Cosatu labour federation and small, but influential Communist Party, want a shift away from former President Thabo Mbeki's market friendly policies, demanding more relaxed fiscal and monetary policy.
But analysts say turmoil in global markets and the risk of the world recession will lead to slower economic growth this year and leave little room for the new government to manoeuvre policy.
The National Treasury said the deteriorating global envirnoment will help slow economic growth for 2008 to 3.7% and 3.0% next year from 2007's 5.1% expansion.
Worries over a wide current account deficit and risk aversion have seen investors dumping South Africa for less-risky markets.
The rand has lost as much as 40% to the dollar this year stoking inflation fears at a time when consumers are also under pressure from interest rates that have risen by 5 percentage points in the past two years.
Manuel told the Financial Times that as the dollar and borrowing costs become more expensive, South Africans might have to curb their appetite for imported goods.
"A lot of it (has been) financed by debt, easily financed to white South Africans and now as easily extended to high-income black South Africans," Manuel said.

About a quarter of all emergency workers, including police, traffic officers, paramedics and firefighters, suffer from severe symptoms of post-traumatic stress, delegates attending the second International Road Traffic Accident and Reconstruction Conference have heard.

During a session on Tuesday on the effects of trauma on emergency workers, psychologist Mike Lacey-Smith said most of those affected were men, because they were more likely to bottle up their emotions and explode later in life.

He said research showed that most men believed they could just move on after seeing a decapitated body or a corpse burnt beyond recognition, but this was often not the case.

"People try to avoid the reality of the situation and trauma by blocking it out or putting it into a box," said Lacey-Smith. "However, the only problem is, there is no box. Whatever is stored builds up over time, and will result in post-traumatic stress syndrome."

Without a debriefing or a talk with colleagues, friends or family after a traumatic incident, it was almost guaranteed that an emergency worker would eventually suffer from depression or stress.

Lacey-Smith said emergency workers were often seen as super heroes with no emotions. "People should realise these people are human beings," he said. "They cry, have families and often struggle to deal with trauma. "The first thing most emergency workers did when they got home after a rough day was to have a drink. "This should be avoided at all costs," he said. "Rather call a colleague, speak to your superiors to arrange a psychologist, or call a reliable friend who understands what you are going through. Alcohol and drugs can entrench the imagery after visiting an horrific murder scene or car crash."

Lacey-Smith said critical stress debriefings should take place within 72 hours of the emergency worker returning from the scene of an accident.

"This will reduce the effects and symptoms of post traumatic stress," he said. Too many rescue and emergency workers used alcohol as a defence mechanism."

It works for a while, as everything is pushed to the background, but the reality of the situation often catches up with you, which could result in an unhealthy family life, ill-health and in extreme cases, even suicide," Lacey-Smith said.

Superintendent Rob Askew, a member of the national visible policing division, said emergency workers often did not recognise the significance of debriefing.

He said every male police officer was given a 24-hour trauma number to call for debriefing and counselling, but their male egos almost always got the better of them.

"They simply have too much pride, and they don't recognise that bottling everything up could, at the end of the day, destroy their careers and their lives.

"Female police officers were, on the other hand, very open.

Askew urged emergency workers to go for debriefing sessions regularly, and to make use of their in-house psychologists before things became unbearable."The resources are available," he said. "All the members need to do is to make use of them."

Upgrade your alarm system

Alarm systems are not as infallible as home owners might think. According to security experts, criminals can use many ways to protect themselves from heat-detecting alarm systems. Technology has changed rapidly and many of the older systems rely only on heat detection.

Although the police report these types of break-ins as isolated incidents, criminals are educating themselves about alarm systems and are constantly thinking up new ways to break into houses."Getting past alarm systems in this way is simple to do," said senior technician at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Greg Loubser. According to Loubser, criminals only need to know how to shield themselves to easily break into houses undetected.

Regal Security branch manager Clyde Field agrees and says people should look at upgrading parts of their alarm systems. The wall-mounted devices - known as passive infrareds (PIR) detectors - monitor ambient room temperatures. Any dramatic change in the room's temperature - caused by a person walking past - will trigger the alarm. Criminals have worked out ways to protect themselves from the PIRs.

"People shouldn't only have standard PIRs," said Field. "Invest in a couple of anti-cloaking passives, and your home will be safer. "These passives are known as dual-tech passives and although they still contain the normal PIRs, they also contain microwave motion detectors. This means that movement and changes in temperature will be detected. "The dual-tech passives are more expensive," said Field, "but because you only need to replace a few of your standard PIRs, it won't set you back too much. Remember, all passives are interchangeable on an alarm panel."

According to Field, home owners would not need to replace entire alarm systems. "You only have to upgrade one or two of your passives … each will cost about R400," he said. "So if you are feeling nervous about one particular area of your house, you can replace your standard passive with a dual-tech one."

However, Field and Loubser believe that perimeter protection is of vital importance. "Put beams around your fence, or switches on doors and windows. This is the best defence, as you will be aware of the criminal before he is even near your house," said Field. "It will also give you time to call the police or security company you are with."

Another section of Oxford Road collapsed over the new Gautrain tunnel on Tuesday. The hole is near the Gautrain's emergency shaft E3. It is about a metre deep, 5m long and 4m wide. It straddles part of the pavement and the first north-bound lane of Oxford Road near Riviera Road.

The Bombela Concession Company, which is building the Gautrain, closed off Oxford Road between Riviera Road in the south and 8th Avenue in the north.Bombela spokesperson Kelebogile Machaka said the tunnel was completed under that section of roadway at the end of last month. It now stretches about 400m south.

The tunnel-boring machine is cutting a 2,8km section of tunnel running under Oxford Road, Machaka said.When the first hole occurred, about 60 percent of this section had been finished, while about 90 percent is now complete.

Machaka said a car belonging to a Bombela worker on the site was parked nearby and started tilting, but was moved in time to prevent it falling into the hole.

No injuries were reported. Traffic is being diverted while investigations get under way.

House invasions now executed with "shock & awe" tactic

Johannesburg residents are facing a new robbery modus operandi called the "shock and awe" tactic.

This is according to corporate investigations group SSG, which says house robbers utilise tactics that involve rushing into a home with such aggression that they put their victims into a state of shock, unable to resist.

But, says SSG CEO Mitchell Graaf, the trend is not as horrific as it would appear, as criminals are not looking to kill, but take items they can make a profit from. "The silver lining to an otherwise gloomy cloud is that criminals perpetrating home invasions are professionals whose aim is profit, not murder," Graaf said.

On July 18, Nicholas Green, a Bryanston resident, was at home with his daughter and domestic worker when a group of armed robbers stormed into his lounge. The gang tied up Green, his daughter and domestic with cable ties in the main bedroom. Meanwhile, a family member returned home, and she was assaulted.

"Being able to do absolutely nothing while my family was being traumatised in front of my very eyes filled me with equal measures of despair and rage. It was at that point that I decided we had to live through this experience, because I was going to make these thugs pay," Green said.

The gang ransacked his home, but Green noticed specific valuable household appliances had been stolen. "It was as if they came prepared with a shopping list, and they even thought to bring a four-ton truck to cart everything away."

Green hired SSG to aid police investigations, which revealed the robbery was possibly an inside job by their domestic worker or one of her relatives. Green said his domestic worker's cellphone had rung and she answered it during the attack, but the robbers had not taken it away or demanded to know who was calling.

Police found there was no forced entry through the driveway gate. The domestic was taken in for questioning, and confessed her son may have been involved. He was put under surveillance, Green's car movements were tracked and cellphone records of people associated with the son were investigated.

A chase by the SAPS and Green's vehicle-tracking firm ended in Tembisa when four suspects rolled the car and fled on foot.

Private security formally taking over policing?

Private guards get more powers to police suburbs

South Africa’s private security services are being enlisted to do official police work in an effort by the beleaguered police to win the war against violent crime.

Security guards in Johannesburg’s crime-plagued north-western suburbs will from this week — on behalf of the police — formally take charge of crime scenes at house and business robberies and hijackings if they arrive first. They will also identify and arrest suspects and take notes of evidence.

There are almost four security guards to every operational police officer in South Africa and they often arrive at crime scenes first.

From the north-western suburbs, falling under the Honeydew policing cluster, the project will next be rolled out to Sandton and then to Alexandra and Rustenburg.

Business Against Crime South Africa, which started the Private Security Alignment Initiative, is negotiating with security firms in KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape to take the project there.

The new crime-fighting partnership aims to make a dent in the number of “trio” crimes — business robbery, house robbery and hijacking.

Twelve security firms have signed up for the project, including household names such as ADT, Chubb, Top Security and Peaceforce. They are supplying radios and staff to man a joint control centre.

The police, in turn, are providing training for the security guards on how to secure crime scenes, preserve evidence and take detailed notes. They are also taught radio protocol. Security guards involved have been vetted for criminal records.

Business Against Crime chief executive Siphiwe Nzimande said he hoped the initiative would spread to the other provinces in the first six months of 2009.

The head of the SA Police Service’s Alexandra cluster of police stations, Director Theko Pharasi said the plan “multiplies the forces and strengthens the personnel so we can’t say we have any shortages”.

South Africa’s 350000 private security guards vastly outnumber its 98000 operational police officers.

Commissioner Oswald Reddy, head of the Honeydew cluster, said: “These guys (armed response guards) are usually the first on the scene. Sometimes they unknowingly damage and trample on evidence.

“We are trying to co-ordinate activities.”

The project hinges on a secure radio network that only participants in the project can access. In the past, Business Against Crime national project manager Lorinda Nel, said criminals listened in on the police radio network.

Residents or businesses under attack will now be aided by the nearest armed security guard or police officer — regardless of whether they are paid-up clients of a security company.

Roy Rawlins, managing director of ADT in Johannesburg, said the participating security companies were not worried that their clients would cancel their contracts if they were going to get services free.

People would, he insisted, still sign up with security firms because of the panic buttons and patrolling services they would enjoy that non-subscribers would not.

But Barbara Holtmann, crime prevention research leader at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, branded the project “a bit of a desperate response” and questioned whether it would reduce crime or just displace it .

“Police have a specific mandate and I’m not sure it’s a good idea to hand over parts of that mandate to people who have a private profit motive,” she said.

You Can’t Have Your Banana And Eat It

In his “Wrath of Dethroned White Males” Professor Malegapuru Makgoba has dared to offer a biological explanation for the power structure that prevails in the new South Africa. According to him, the white male has been “dethroned” and should now learn to adapt to a subservient, even submissive, role within our society.

Until now, Social Darwinism or the model of society as a competition for resources where the fittest will survive and prosper, has often been associated with notions of European superiority. After all, Europeans from a minute area in north-western Europe managed to get on to little sailing boats to colonise and rule the greater part of the Earth for a few hundred years. Britain is said to have conquered 100-million people in the Indian sub-continent with 800 soldiers and 2 000 Indian auxiliaries.

Makgoba’s view of African male dominance therefore represents a novel departure from a previously Eurocentric idea. However, he is not the first South African to take an interest in biological explanations for human behaviour or politics. Two of his predecessors would be Eugene Marais and Jan Smuts.

Marais was keen on the study of primates, especially baboons, and wrote two books about them, The Soul of the Ape and Burgers van die Berge. The great Afrikaner physician, journalist, poet and intellectual stressed the similarity between human and baboon behaviour, including an occurrence where he observed human boys and young baboons playing together, making clay figures and imitating one another.

This extraordinary incident is recounted in Burgers van die Berge. It fits in with Makgoba’s view that imitation and “aping” are normal features of both human and baboon societies. Nowhere would Marais, however, advance the notion that imitation was solely linked to hierarchy and dominance.

Makgoba is perhaps the leading theoretical Africanist in our country today. I am sorry, therefore, to bother him with Eurocentric logic, but his argument represents a tautology. Because black males are in power, he deduces that they are both dominant and “fitter” than white males. However, it could be that they are dominant for reasons other than their fitness. [Emphasis added]

Not so long ago, Mathatha Tsedu, the then editor of the Sunday Times, caused quite a ripple when he wrote in his column on July 13 2003 that black men sometimes display a lack of prowess. He quoted an anonymous Cabinet member who had told him: “When you come from where we come from and you then have to realise that if you want something done quickly you have to rely on whites, it is really debilitating. You bleed internally, but our very own comrades do not work. There is generally no work ethic.”

Of course, there could be a debate about what attributes an alpha male should have in human society. Should he be intelligent, physically strong or both? Should he be a good manager, highly numerate and literate, disciplined and with a good work ethic? Or are these but the traits of a tame white baboon and are universal criteria for primate success such as aggression, reproductive prowess and dominant behaviour more important?

Makgoba’s assessment leans toward the latter interpretation. However, I do not think that the same conditions of Darwinian survival pertain in the human world as opposed to the animal world. Human beings display altruistic behaviour uncommon in many species so that they would not necessarily subjugate the weaker members of their society as happens in a primate hierarchy.

Take the nuclear project at Pelindaba that existed under the previous government, for example. A handful of white Afrikaner males produced six nuclear bombs, deadly enough to kill millions of people in one fell swoop. In a straight Darwinian contest, they should have used that power to eliminate their black male rivals forever, thereby ensuring their own dominance within Makgoba’s scheme of rivalry between white and black males. Yet not only did they refrain from using the bombs, but they handed over power to the black males and peacefully dismantled their own lethal weapons.

Biologically speaking, such behaviour is absurd. No male baboon would be caught dead playing into the hands of his rival. Yet this is precisely what we have seen in South Africa.

At another level, however, one could argue that a form of social Darwinism is still operative at every level in a capitalist society where individuals and companies are selected for fitness through economic competition. This leads to a further contradiction in Makgoba’s argument, for while exalting black male fitness over white male weakness, he insists on affirmative action and black economic empowerment.

Because of racial-preference measures in our society, Darwinian competition, even at the more civilised economic level —as opposed to brute contests with bared teeth and flailing limbs —is flawed.

Either black males such as Makgoba will have to discard racial preference so that the real Darwinian contest may begin, or they will have to continue invoking sympathy for the poor, downtrodden black male having been disadvantaged by centuries of colonial oppression and racism. In other words, they will have to choose between Darwinism and altruism.

As they would say in the baboon world: you can’t have your banana and eat it.

The business of blogging what has derisively been termed "political pornography" is certainly not for weaklings - not that I'm implying any of the more recent departures are that - au contraire!

The truth be told, your resident alpha demagogue also wrote his tear-jerking goodbye speech a few weeks ago. That's right folks- I came home pretty late one evening after performing resus and intubation on some dying servers, to find to my absolute horror and disgust that a person and (recent) fellow blogger whom I've followed online for years, was in truth a Mata Hari of sorts. This metaphor is actually too gentle - Judas or Brutus would be more appropriate but suitable derisive & hateful prose fail me right now. So let's just say having the phantasm of this worthless scoundrel getting lynched, after which its stinking cheese-munching carcass is chopped into pieces and burned in an oil drum while it's horrified spawn is forced to watch, fills me with sadistic delight.

Thankfully, good old Eskom's incompetence darkened the neighbourhood just as I was about to hit the 'post' button and by the time I'd slept over the matter, a cold rage precluded me from burning the SAS bridge. This blog is my favourite little hate baby and I'll be damned if I desert it over some treacherous malefactor's duplicity. Captains go down with their ships, and all that (except Greek ones) right?

As with any management team, members start knowing one another fairly intimately - the usual anonymity (de rigeur for blogging especially on controversial sites like this) and masks are dropped in unguarded moments, often to our eternal regret. Suffice to say that this is pretty much what has happened - we were infiltrated at the highest level by someone with fairly impressive conservative / rightist credentials. Initially I was quite chuffed to have this person on board, but it didn't take long to realise our neophyte bloggers true intent - which is to hammer on the divisions between the various White tribes of South Africa, and to resuscitate the Frankensteinian monster which is the tired old Boer / Brit issue.

Gentlemanly appeals to this seemingly benign old coffin dodger evinced a foam-specked tirade replete with profanity that would have had a sergeant-major cringe, and it dawned on me that this matronly 'Barbara Woodhouse type matriarch' was in fact a shape-shifting razor-backed, shark-toothed Amazonian bat out of darkest hell - a vile, poisonous and bitter old crone who - in spite of it's disarming and endearing creaky granny walker prop- would make the ceiling paint peel with it's toxic blasts of foulness. The one moment it's silky tongue would envelop you in heavenly figurative fellatio, but the next it would shape-shift into a rancid, decaying corpse reminiscent of the sexy ghost lady in the bathroom scene of Stephen King's classic The Shining', it's piranha-like teeth ripping shreds of flesh from your tender member as it grunted, heaved and farted like a pig giving birth to a roll of rusty razor wire.

Suddenly the Salem witch burnings seemed a lot more humane than Floridian lethal injection methods, and it occurred to me that I'd better divest myself of my silly Victorian notions of "kindred old ladies" if I was to survive this demonic onslaught by Lilith and her screeching, winged denzins from hell. After momentarily considering offering it blood sacrifices of lambs and cute Maltese puppies for a mark of it's favour and appeasement, I thankfully snapped out of this mesmerising spell and instead cursed this Mother of Incubus straight back to its dank, malodorous catacombs with a rigidly held, extended middle finger.

Fortunately this lice-ridden, snake-eyed vulture and her satanic spawn has mercifully flapped off from SA Sucks but like the ever-present, vexatious carrion eaters they are, are now cumbersomely perching on the heavily-weighted branches of a nearby blogger tree - gawking enviously at our every post and every so now and then swooping down here to deposit their unctuous, foul-smelling excrement within the comments pages, or to stealthily steal text & imagery to go feather their own shit-encrusted nests with. All in the name of pro-White activism, of course.

I was somehow able to yank the ragged, spiked stake out of my heart and stagger on. Unfortunately however, the collateral damage to the other bloggers was done. Months of anonymous, threatening emails took its toll on our fellow scribes, and they took off - probably the sensible thing to do, considering we actually do have lives beyond this foreboding little corner of the internet. Everyone except me, of course. So dear reader, perhaps I'm the fool standing on the tracks facing an oncoming express freight train. I readily admit SAS has hit a bit of an iceberg - we've had a substantial strip torn from the hull (not to mention our hearts) and we've taken on some cold North Atlantic water.

Doodler, Eli the Bearded and Dark Raven have done a fantastic job - for this I thank them and salute them. Well done guys and lady - so long, I will miss you.

But fret not folks - it will be business as usual. With fewer bloggers we'll probably have to resort to a bit more cutting & pasting for the interim but the show will go on. There is much talent out there and as I see good writers, I will do my best to recruit them for the cause. I refuse to be silenced. I refuse to be cowed by the treachery of those who pay lip service to the plight of the White Tribe in Africa. I will continue to poke my racist White little finger up the flaring simian nostrils and into the dull yellow-membraned eyes of these self-aggrandising, thieving, murderous worthless baboons by doggedly exposing their mind-numbing stupidity, gob-smacking savagery and cruelty for all the world to see.

To be sure, this won't be for that much longer but I promise you this - until the moment I step on that plane at Jan Smuts Airport, or until the Thought Police along with the white traitors in our midst pries my trusty old cordless Logitech keyboard out of my cold, stiff fingers, I will keep blogging & yapping on like a frenzied poodle, the consequences be damned.

The people behind SAS don't want anyone sticking around too long; they want fresh contributors and commenters to spread the "truth" about South Africa. They know they are bullshitting, and that they can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Part of the modus operandi is to make physical and other threats at detractors of the site and, interestingly, any other contributors and commenters as well.
See link below, where an alleged friend of Jan Lamprecht who blogged on SAS as Marwinsing tells of his experience of being tossed off as a contributor a year ago. TRR (Totally Real Realist) was the pseudonym of either xxxx, who runs an IT company from Randburg and calls himself Uhuru Guru, or xxxx, who currently flaps around as Dark Raven.

xxxx is married to xxxx. They ran a curio shop in Simonstown before leaving for Germany in 2001, where xxxx has citizenship.

xxxx likes to call himself Rauber xxxx or equally absurd pseudonyms, telling women they are not advised to comment on the blog unless they want to discuss "natural regression" to stereotyped 50's style female behavior, as SAS is directed at ultra-macho white males.

These ultra-macho white males are exhorted to round up and arm themselves, cowboy style, to solve the country's problems, once and for all.

I really get depressed when I read the papers and then have to dwell on and comment on the content and rapid all round deterioration (in all respects) we as SAns are experiencing and being subjected to.

I have thought about it long and hard for some weeks now, and DR's resignation as well as her reasons, albeit different to mine, have led me to believe that it is impossible for me to continue. Blog burnout of note?

In the main, I have really and truly enjoyed my time on the blog, its addictive, especially deleting the asinine comments from the nutzis (LOL) but all in all, I think my time to wave all a fond farewell has also come.

Thank you to WSAS' loyal followers - I wish you very well - you made this a great place.

DR, we will miss you a lot.

You were one of our favourite fellow bloggers and thousands of our readers and I enjoyed your provocative writing style.

Underneath it all there was clearly a lot of sadness which showed in your contributions. It is true that it is cathartic to write and deal with the issues facing us in South Africa today, but over time it genuinely becomes a depressing experience.

You are indeed fortunate to have made the big emotional step in being able to cut the emotional ties which bound you to Africa.

I foresee that many, many people will still leave this beautiful country and have to deal with the consequences, many of them unpleasant which you had to. To all those, I think it is very brave move.

After having read DR's piece, I too am wondering if any real purpose would be served as to whether it is worthwhile keeping up WSAS in the face of all we have said and done.

What more possibly can we say that has not already been said? It really is a case of same shit, different day.

The crime, the rotting infrastructure, BEE, farm murders, anti white racism stoked continuously, the disease of that which is Africa, the urging of our compatriots to get the hell out while they still can, the enmity we face from our fellow white SAns, you name it.

What new contributions can we really make? The other day we were attacked by a poster bitching about cut and paste articles - he/she said that we should place something original....and I think he/she was correct - but - such as what? The old saying "Out of Africa, something always new" has by now become cliched... Whether it is Rwanda or the Congo or South Africa, its always the same. Publish more pictures of upcoming xenophobia? Dealing with the likely violence occasioned by the ANC split? Black cops beating up white women? White men being raped in police cells? So what? Whats new?

Anyway, DR, we will remember you fondly, remember us, and send in a contribution every now and again.

When I left South Africa and settled in Europe, reading the news from back there was very worrying. I worried about the situation and the folks I care about still inside, knowing exactly what the day to day's of life there are like, and the seemingly normal everyday things that are part of most peoples routine...and fact is, it was not only my own family I was concerned for.
I would guess that is why most expats read all the news sites and blogs like this one daily, in the hopes that some how there will be a little candle of hope for a return to normality in the country, or a concerted effort to muster and make a stand together. Maybe I speak for myself here...I did feel this way after leaving.

I remember the first time I ever read this blog...the original started by the Real Realist...It was great, the best thing since sliced bread.. and of course, the comments to his posts by other readers were all saying exactly what I thought and had experienced myself. It gave us a platform to vent our frustration, sadness, disgust..everything...and so I became a regular and avid reader. Later The Real Realist was joined by the Uhuru Guru and then Knorrig... Both these bloggers were kick ass and in your face in the way they told the story of what was happening to my country and to my volksgenoote, which is what I needed and wanted to know...the truth of what was happening, and where it was all leading.. In a way I suppose I wanted some kind of reassurance from them that something would be done to turn the tide on crime and corruption and the onslaught against my people......But...alas... you see, as I got to know these folk better, and actually joined the blog as a contributor, I learnt much from them and from the readers, about just about everything, political skulduggery, lies, corruption. past history, you name it, and it wasn't reassuring.

All along in the back of my mind I knew the truth that my Ouma used to tell me about Africa.. the Congo and Zambia, Rhodesia, Mozambique, Angola..and I knew very well that what we were witnessing was the march of African politics playing out in one former colony after another...and you know what... South Africa is not going to be different to any of the others...there is nothing anyone can do anymore, and basically one has to accept that as White South Africans you are left with two choices. Stay in South Africa and deal with it, street name changes, BEE, black dictators, corruption and violence..come what may. Or leave and stick to your guns, make a new life elsewhere and stop crying about the loss.

So often I hear from my old mates who are now Scatterings of Africa all over the globe, USA, UK, Aus..New Zealand...some never mention SA anymore, others cry and miss what they remember of their lives back in SA. I did go through sadness, worry and despair about my folk who are still back there. But, I don't anymore...it's too debilitating to worry about others who don't worry about themselves, when life marches on and you should be spending that time working toward your own goals and making yourself a new comfortable nest...fixing up a new house, going on holidays, buying new cars ...getting your kids started in life in a white society..that is what people do in civilised countries...it's normal stuff...and that's why we leave in the first place isn't it...to have a 'normal' life.

For Sipho and Precious, the changes in SA are probably great.. But for me, as a white person, I have always worked hard to keep my standards up and lived like any other white man or woman in any other first world country, all the changes, social, political, opinions and attitudes of people in SA were unacceptable. ..its been reduced to an ugly place over run with the great unwashed, held ransom by a cabal of syphilitic velcrokop thugs. I don't want to be there..not even in a quiet little hamlet in the Sneeuberg...or in my mind.

SA is a lost cause, and when communicating with people back there, encouraging them to look at the situation carefully, inform themselves, leave or at least to read this blog, ..ag it's a waste of time. The constant refrain is that it's impossible, it's too expensive, they're too old, they don't have qualifications..or , it's not so bad, the economy is growing.. For the others, hulle gort is gaar, they have no fight in them...the last of the gutsy boys were grassed out by their own kind..

For a time this blog served as a kind of therapy for me where I would put up a post, and have my own questions and uncertainties answered by my blog mates and the readers...but a lot has changed in my life in this year, I feel I have covered every subject pertaining to Arsezania from all different angles that I possibly could...it has given me great clarity about politics and sub human behaviour...it has given me closure on a chapter of my life that was very hard to live through at times. It was a learning experience and an opportunit I am please to have had. However..of late I'm hasseled, I am working and making plans for the future here in Europe, and it has become too much to keep up with blog posts in my spare time..I believe the blog is doing a wonderful job exposing the shit that is going on in SA and it was my intention to help keep it going for as long as possible, but my interest is no longer in SA, I've found my home again, and my interest in South African affairs is honestly at an all time low...when I am at home..I wanna chill with a book and a six pack of cold frosty ones...listen to some beat..sleep..

So I'm gonna do like Knorrig and The Real Realist...and bow out ma chinas! Many thanks to Uhuru Guru for giving me the opportunity to be part of this project, I have learnt much from you. You've been a great friend and mentor. To my blog buddies, it's been a jol, I wish you all well , remember...if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere!... To most of the readers, thanks for all your support and encouragement, I wish all of you building your lives in the diaspora everything of the best, you will succeed if you really want to!... Escalating political violence

Nice little leader in the Sunday Times today by Mondli. Most of what he says is true, in a very restrained way. Naturally he blames apartheid for the violence - he could not tell the truth though - that the propensity for violence is the African way to conduct its political affairs.....

A friend, who was in the US at the height of our xenophobic violence, kept bombarding me with text messages telling me about the ghastly South Africa stories being published on the pages of American newspapers.
On his way back home, he sent me more messages from Heathrow, where he was catching a connecting flight to Johannesburg. The British Sunday papers were filled with doom and gloom about our republic. It was the end of the South African dream, they shouted.

We topped the world’s news agenda again— for all the wrong reasons.
We may scoff at outside perceptions of ourselves and complain that the world is taking our situation out of context. But the reality of 2008 has been this: news coming out of the republic is not good.

And we must understand that even though there may be bad news coming out of Colombia, Thailand and Georgia, we are not them.
We were a romantic story that the world loved for all the goose bumps it gave them. At the end of a century of wars and genocides, South Africa’s democratic transition gave the world hope that good could eclipse evil. High standards were set for us, by our continent and the rest of the world.

While nobody expected us to be perfect, we were never going to be allowed to take the kind of doltish missteps we have.
When we perform badly, the impact is huge — much like when a fairy-tale love affair goes wrong. We are mismanaging our brand terribly and we’re refusing to learn that, for romantic and strategic reasons, many eyes are on us.

I despaired this week as I watched an ANC mob behave like Zanu-PF thugs at Orange Farm. The seeds for such conduct were planted months ago, when ANC leaders allowed thuggish behaviour to take root in the party.
There was that rally on June 16, when ANC youth leader Julius Malema exhorted his followers to kill for Jacob Zuma. He was followed, some days later, by Congress of South African Trade Unions big cheese Zwelinzima Vavi, who echoed the teak-head’s statements.
Not long thereafter, the youth were chanting “kill for Zuma” at congresses and rallies.
The ruling party’s response: “It is all taken out of context.”
This week, at Orange Farm, they were chanting: “ Kill Lekota. Kill Shilowa.”
The ruling party’s response was to label the incident as “unfortunate”.
It was a wholly inadequate response to something that should be seriously worrying the country’s leaders.

We know our history of political conflict and the bloody manner in which we handled political differences in the past.
We thought we had left that politics behind when the disciples of a certain feudal lord on the east coast stopped butchering people in the mid-1990s. We complacently thought that we could begin conducting our politics in civility.
Yet our complacency was rudely shattered by the clashes between the ANC and the United Democratic Movement in Richmond and certain parts of the Cape towards the end of the millennium.

Although that conflict was fanned by “third force” elements, it had its foundations in political intolerance.
As is the case at the end of wars, once the soldiers are out of the trenches, the politicians are able to back-slap in the corridors of parliament. They can disagree vehemently on policies and other issues but still share the oxygen of the same chamber of parliament.
But down there on the ground there are widows, orphans and decimated communities. There are deep wounds that may never be healed — no matter how many workshops are convened, no matter how much reconstruction money is poured into devastated areas.

The scars of war do not just heal. Worse still is the impact on culture. In countries that have failed to entrench tolerance, it becomes normal to settle political differences through violence.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that criminal elements find cover in political conflict to execute their deeds, something we must avert.
Save for a few flare-ups during election periods, the past decade has seen a relative absence of political violence.
But just observe how easily labour disputes turn violent, how communities vent their service-delivery frustrations through violent street action and how commuters voice their irritation at the late arrival of trains and buses, with petrol and matches.
Then you’ll realise just how easily the blood tap can be turned back on.

We live in a country with a propensity for violence. It is one of those hangovers from the dehumanisation of the apartheid system and the war that was fought to end it.
We are in a climate where turning that blood tap on may be an attractive proposition for some — with or without the sanction of party leaders.
Next year’s election is going to be the most competitive in our history. Although the ANC is nowhere near being challenged for power, it will face stern tests in areas where it has previously been able to cruise.

The potential for conflict places so much more responsibility on leaders to entrench tolerance .
It would be great to hear Jacob Zuma stand up and repudiate the hooliganism that is committed in the name of the ANC — and the war talk that is disseminated in his name.
Similarly, it would help to hear the words uttered by deputy president Baleka Mbete yesterday (in much stronger language): “I don’t believe they (the ANC breakaway) are a threat ... they are just a political party, like any other in the country, and it is their right to mobilise (for the upcoming elections).”

The bottom line is that if the ANC fails to instil tolerance, the news coming out of the republic over the next six months will go from bad to worse. And we will find ourselves on the front pages and prime-time bulletins, with our election being covered for violence rather than for its democratic spirit.
Now we don’t want that, do we?

Woman tells of highway ordeal

As praise continues to pour in for the hero motorists who came to the aid of a woman driver being attacked by armed men on Wednesday, a Bluff woman has told of a similar ordeal on the N2.

Gillian Stokes had just turned onto the N2 from Solomon Mahlangu Drive (Edwin Swales VC Drive) when her car broke down. An immediate phone call to her family for help was followed by minutes of terror as a young man approached her car.

"While waiting, I noticed in my rearview mirror a young man, about 19 years old, walking up the hill behind me. "I went into a flat panic, but he sauntered past me, and I castigated myself for thinking badly of him. I initially thought the world we live in has made us so cynical that we do not trust anyone anymore," Stokes said.

"About 10 minutes later, this same man came back from a different direction. I knew then that something was wrong as he could not have got anywhere on that road in such a short space of time. "He had one of those knit jumpers on that has one big pocket on the front. As he got closer to my car I saw that both his hands were in the pocket," she said.

"I started my car, and managed to go about 100m past the man up the hill before my car died on me again. Suddenly he started running up the hill towards me. "I thrust my cellphone into my bra, jumped out of my car with my handbag, locked my car and managed to open my boot, throw my handbag in, and slammed the boot shut. All this while he was running towards me," Stokes said.

With the youngster now fast approaching, Stokes was left with no option but to escape across the busy highway, fearing she would again be held at knifepoint as happened to her two years before.

"I stood screaming and waving my hand like a mad woman at the cars speeding past me and pointing at the young man who was by then trying to break the window on the passenger side of my car."

"It seemed like everyone was just going to drive past, but about four cars pulled over at the same time," she said.

"The man didn't run away immediately but stood watching them with a big grin on his face. Only when one guy got out of his bakkie and ran towards the little sod, did he run to the middle of the road, as I had, probably about 10m from me.

"Again he just stood there laughing at us, and only when the man from the bakkie made as if to cross the road - only then did he run across to the other side of the road. He disappeared into the bushes." Stokes has now made it her mission to tell her story, hoping it will save the lives of others in her position.

"So often people stop to use their phones ... It is very apparent that dangerous gangs and individuals patrol the sides of the highways looking for potential victims. That is a really scary thing," Stokes said.

The coon caricature was born during American slavery. Slave masters and overseers often described slaves as slow, lazy, and trifling. The master and the slave operated with different motives: the master desired to obtain from the slave the greatest labor, by any means; the slave desired to do the least labor while avoiding punishment.

The slave registered his protest against slavery by running away, and, when that was not possible, by slowing work, doing shoddy work, destroying work tools, and faking illness.

Slave masters attributed the slaves' poor work performance to shiftlessness, stupidity, desire for freedom, and genetic deficiencies. This historic racist view of blacks became deeply embedded in American popular culture with the emergence of the minstrel show in the 1840's.

The image of black people in the white mind focused on outrageous depictions of individual blacks and their assumed cultural practices. Countless representations of impoverished blacks with ink-black skin, large thick red lips, and bulging eyeballs appeared almost everywhere in the public arena.

Dozens of graphic artists and illustrators prospered as racial commercial artists by drawing such images to sell products and to illustrate show bills and magazines. Most prominent was Edward W. Kemble, whose racist illustrations were notorious in America and Europe, including this 1896 "classic," Kemble's Coons. One of the most admired illustrators and cartoonists of the late nineteenth century, E. W. Kemble dominated what some historians have termed "the genial school of American caricature."

His illustrations for Southern authors and his cartoons were pervasive in the books and illustrated journals of his day. His career as an illustrator and cartoonist was given a tremendous lift in 1884 when one of his early drawings caught the eye of Mark Twain and ultimately led to his receiving the assignment to illustrate Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, containing 174 illustrations by Kemble.

His work also appeared in several volumes of Joel Chandler Harris' Uncle Remus stories. He also illustrated Uncle Tom's Cabin, Pudd'nhead Wilson, and Colonel Carter of Cartersville.

The coon caricature is one of the most insulting of all anti-Black caricatures. The name itself, an abbreviation of raccoon, is dehumanizing. As with Sambo, the coon was portrayed as a lazy, easily frightened, chronically idle, inarticulate, buffoon.

The coon differed from the Sambo in subtle but important ways. Sambo was depicted as a perpetual child, not capable of living as an independent adult. The coon acted childish, but he was an adult; albeit a good-for-little adult. Sambo was portrayed as a loyal and contented servant.

Indeed, Sambo was offered as a defense for slavery and segregation. How bad could these institutions have been, asked the racialists, if Blacks were contented, even happy, being servants? The coon, although he often worked as a servant, was not happy with his status.

He was, simply, too lazy or too cynical to attempt to change his lowly position. Also, by the 1900's, Sambo was identified with older, docile Blacks who accepted Jim Crow laws and etiquette; whereas coons were increasingly identified with young, urban Blacks who disrespected Whites.

Stated differently, the coon was a Sambo gone bad. The coon caricature was one of the stock characters among minstrel performers. Minstrel show audiences laughed at the slow-talking fool who avoided work and all adult responsibilities. This transformed the coon into a comic figure, a source of bitter and vulgar comic relief. He was sometimes renamed "Zip Coon" or "Urban Coon."

If the minstrel skit had an antebellum setting, the coon was portrayed as a free Black; if the skit's setting postdated slavery, he was portrayed as an urban Black. He remained lazy and good-for-little, but the minstrel shows depicted him as a gaudy dressed "Dandy" who "put on airs."

Unlike Mammy and Sambo, Coon did not know his place. He thought he was as smart as White people; however, his frequent malapropisms and distorted logic suggested that his attempt to compete intellectually with Whites was pathetic.

His use of bastardized English delighted White audiences and reaffirmed the then commonly held beliefs that Blacks were inherently less intelligent. The minstrel coon's goal was leisure, and his leisure was spent strutting, styling, fighting, avoiding real work, eating watermelons, and making a fool of himself. If he was married, his wife dominated him. If he was single, he sought to please the flesh without entanglements.

Talks with the public over the renaming of 27 city streets turned ugly on Wednesday night. Police used pepper spray to bring the situation under control after opposing groups started throwing chairs at each other in the Pretoria North Town Hall. The same group that disrupted the first meeting at the East Lynne community centre early this month was responsible for Wednesday night's chaos. One member of the group was arrested after ignoring warnings from both SAPS and the Tshwane Metro Police to stop his disruptive behaviour. The melee had strong racial overtones and saw whites pitted against blacks.

The group that caused the ruckus was predominantly Afrikaans. Always whitey, and if we can demonise the Afrikaner, hey baby, so much the better - anything to promote white genocide!! Its members were barred from entering the hall in order to allow proceedings to continue. The meeting resumed half an hour later to allow the pepper spray to clear.

Pretoria's Fidel Castro Street to be one-way cul-de-sac

PRETORIA. The Tshwane council has confirmed that Pretorius Street in Pretoria is set to be renamed Fidel Castro Street, and will "celebrate the legacy" of Cuba's veteran leader. As such, the street will be transformed from a thriving thoroughfare into a one-way cul-de-sac whose residents will have access to excellent healthcare but won't be allowed to read newspapers.

The South African Communist Party has celebrated the decision, saying it has already reported the victory to the Kremlin. "We called the Soviet Triumph Hotline as soon as we heard," said SACP spokesman Pogrom Pedi. "As usual it went straight to answering-machine, so we reported the heroism of our street-renaming cadres, and reminded the Comrades to give us our new orders."

He said that the message on the answering machine had been unchanged "for some time now", and that it said that Party leadership was away on clandestine anti-capitalist manoeuvres and "would return to Moscow in June 1989".

He also conceded that Moscow had not given the SACP any new orders since early 1987, when it had sent a postcard from Bali which read, "Wish you were here, weather great, just keep on, you know, being angry about the exploitation of the etc etc".

He said that the creation of Fidel Castro Street would be a decisive blow against the forces of capitalism within the Tshwane Metro,which included Babu's Friendly Café on Potgieter Street, which had refused to accept a cadre's job application because Mr Babu did not recognize a Masters degree earned at the Leonid Brezhnev Technical University of Tractor Maintenance in Minsk.

Pedi said that those living on Fidel Castro Street would "soon come to enjoy the immense benefits" of living in a street modeled after Castro's Cuba. He confirmed that residents would have free world-class healthcare, excellent medical treatment, top-notch hospital access, superb clinics, highly trained doctors, free world-class healthcare, highly trained doctors, top-notch hospital access, "and lots, lots more".

A huge fight broke out between Whites and blacks after a flatnose attacked a White resident, hitting him over the head with a chair. Predictably, the way in which this incident is being reported in the English language media versus the Afrikaans media shows significant variance - compare these three reports:

SA Police and Metro cops intervened, summoning reinforcements and firing teargas. In scenes reminiscent of Zimboonia, predominantly black police and metro cops stormed into the hall in Pretoria North and started attacking White residents, while pointedly ignoring black troublemakers. They then kicked out the Whites and refused to allow them to participate further in the meeting.

Kallie Kriel of Afriforum, a pro-White Afrikaans group was assaulted and man-handled by a shitskin Metro cop director who was in charge of the Metro police contingent. Kriel said he pointed out to director Ndumiso Jaca that the shitskin responsible for hitting a White resident over the head with a chair was still in the hall – this after the Metro police had selectively intervened and thrown out only White residents involved in the fighting.

Jaca then attacked Kriel, who subsequently laid charges of assault against the director. “I made it clear that I had no part in the disruption and did not resist, and simply pointed out that the man responsible for the violence was still in the hall. The violence broke out when a black attacked a White, hitting him over the head with a chair. A White man was arrested, but the black who started the fight wasn’t even addressed or questioned.”

A spokesman for the Freedom Front + said the ANC’s reckless handling of the issue had reached crisis proportions and required urgent intervention. Willie Spies, FF+ MP said the police only targeted and attacked Whites but completely ignored black troublemakers.

Afriforum said that it was deeply concerned how the SA Police and Metro Police were being used as instruments by Marxist ANC regime, to target Whites who were opposed to the looming name changes.

In South Africa, we have approximately 8 000 unnamed streets and roads in predominantly black townships, yet the illegitimate terrorist regime, motivated by racist anti-White hatred, simian spitefulness and envy will insist on changing major street names in especially White Afrikaner towns and cities, ostensibly to foment racial discord and fan the flames of conflict.
Streets named after Afrikaner heroes and leaders like Pretorius, Schoeman and Potgieter are to be changed to honour communist dictators and murderers like Fidel Castro and Che Guavara. When the name changes are implemented, the United States Embassy in Pretoria will straddle Fidel Castro Street on the one side, and Che Guavara street on the other.

The cost of the street name changes are astronomical – in Pretoria alone, it is expected to be in the region of R 900 Million (approximately US $ 100 Million) – this while municipal service delivery and other essential social services like policing and medical care are in a state of virtual collapse, due to black mismanagement, incompetence, massive corruption and budgetary constraints. It is clear that the Afro-Nazi regime is driven by a consuming, mind-boggling hatred of Whites, and political parties such as the Freedom Front and Afriforum are openly calling it cultural vandalism and sabotage of the highest order.

A significant majority of blacks also oppose the name changes, as they feel the massive funds required for this would be better spent in service delivery. A number of factors are driving the new political party which is emerging as a splinter of the ANC (mooted the be called the South African National Congress or SANC) and insane name change policies costing billions, at the expense of grinding poverty alleviation and non-existent service delivery are adding to black discontent.

Yesterday’s violence at dissident ANC leader Terror Lekota’s first public meeting is a foretaste of what could very well be the precursor for a looming civil war in South Africa. The open racial clashes at the Pretoria meeting is also unprecedented – up till now, Whites have meekly accepted the ridiculous diktats and whims of the ruling criminal gang, but as is becoming obvious, Whites have now reached a stage where they will take no more. The temperature is being turned up tremendously and racial animus & polarisation is at an all-time high, and the potential for conflict at ominous levels. This Pretoria incident is but one of a rash of incidents in recent days, where violent clashes between White and black are becoming ever more prevalent.

Since taking power in 1994, the ANC has embarked on a deliberate policy of demonising Whites and fanning the flames of racial hatred. This served the purpose in uniting warring tribes and factions of blacks against a perceived common racial enemy, being the former “White colonialist oppressor”. However, with the outrageous corruption, theft and abject lack of social services resulting in a civic melt-down, a large portion of blacks are growing increasingly restless, turning their backs on the ANC. In April this year, the country witnessed unprecedented unrest & rioting in the form of “xenophobia attacks” on foreigners. A high level report concluded this week that the attacks on foreigners, which resulted in a hundred deaths and thousands of displaced indigents were sparked mainly by corrupt ANC officials taking bribes in exchange for giving housing intended for local blacks, to foreigners.

This in turn resulted in the hard communist left within the ANC to make insane promises upon which they could never possibly deliver, unless they embark on a large scale seizure of White assets and land such as encapsulated in the expropriation bill which was put on hold recently after a huge outcry.

As is usually the case, when you are stealing from Paul to pay Sipho, you can count on Sipho’s support, so the communist populists, led by Jacob Zuma was able to hijack the ANC with relative ease. This in turn led to the palace coup where Tarboy Mbeggi was replaced by Zuma proxy Mothlanthe now acting as caretaker president. Panic-stricken investors are repatriating massive amounts of capital from South Africa, and while the MSM is apportioning the crash of the Rand to international market turmoil, a significant component of our financial woes are being driven by the ascendancy of the communist faction.

South Africa has been in an economic recession for the past year, with growing numbers of both White and black people unable to afford their cars and homes. Inflation and skyrocketing food prices are adding to these woes. One can rightfully observe that South Africa has never been this close to the abyss. The bad news is that things are set to become much worse – the global financial meltdown is but one factor in this hair-raising mix, but the spark for complete chaos could well be Lekota’s new party.

It is significant that Lekota, formerly a loyal ANC stalwart, is now justifying his creation of a splinter party by the use of slogans like “save South Africa from tyranny” and bring SA back from the Warlords”. It could be said that Lekota, himself a revolutionary with his nickname being “Terror” is in a sense the pot calling the kettle black with these strong pronouncements. On the other hand the ominous possibility exists that he, as a former insider) might know a few things we don’t. If this is indeed the case, we have much to be concerned about.

Our rainbow nation has come of age - or so the rest of the world would love to think - but lots are still to be learned about democracy - or can Africans ever learn this basic principle?

If the judiciary is not threatened, politicians are. Fact is that the local boons have a mentality so totally alien to the West that people in First World countries cannot believe that they are inherently completely different insofar as values are concerned. And if these diferences are pointed out, you are immediately branded with the R word, which has in recent times become more feared and a greater insult than being called a Nazi....

Supporters of Jacob Zuma toyi-toyed and chanted "Kill Shilowa, kill Lekota" outside the Orange Farm venue where former ANC chair Terror Lekota was speaking at a public meeting. Lekota and his supporters had to be escorted into and out of the venue. Police formed a circle around the car of Lekota to allow him to leave as ANC members hurled insults at him and threatened to kill him.

Although Lekota was to address the meeting at 11.30am, his supporters were kept waiting for almost three hours as the ANC and Lekota groups were involved in a tense stand-off. Lekota's supporters wore white and yellow T-shirts emblazoned with the former ANC chairperson's face and the words "South African National Congress".

Inside the Orange Farm multipurpose centre, Lekota supporters waved placards reading: "Lekota save us from cruelty and looting" and "Lekota ready to govern". ANC spokesperson Jessie Duarte said : "(That was) a reaction from the community. The ANC did not organise it. That is our observation. All we can do is just to observe." But, note carefully, she, and by extension, the ANC does not condemn these inflammatory statements..

ANC Gauteng's spokesperson Nkenke Kekana, who was at the event but left early, accused Lekota's supporters of provoking the ruling party." His people provoked our members by tearing down posters of Jacob Zuma," he said. And for that, if it is true, he also condones murder? For tearing down posters? What does that tell you about these simians?

Olga Lutu - who resigned as an ANC branch secretary this week - said she, too, had received death threats. As she rushed to the armoured police vehicle with other Lekota supporters, Lutu said she feared for her life. "They say I must be killed. They want to murder me," she said.

Lekota told the crowd he expected ANC members to quit in "big numbers" in support of a breakaway party." The people will form their own party," Lekota said when asked whether he was saying a new opposition party would be formed. Only a few hundred supporters of his plans to hold a national convention in Bloemfontein on November 2 showed up at the meeting at Orange Farm outside Vereeniging. He blamed the low turnout at his rally on Thursday on intimidation.

He preached tolerance, saying his supporters should not retaliate."If they say you are dogs, don't call them dogs. Those of you who were in the ANC and have T-shirts of the ANC, you must not burn them," he said. Many in the audience wore yellow T-shirts imprinted with Lekota's photograph and the words "South African National Congress".

The back of the T-shirts, sported the words "Ready to govern and Save South Africa from tyranny". Lekota urged his supporters to exercise restraint towards their opponents.

"We must not allow throwing stones, don't throw stones back. If they go and burn someone's house, don't go and burn their house," he said. "We must protect the rights of other political formations and parties. We must protect the right to hold meetings, to talk to people."

Lekota warned of "dangerous elements" in the ANC and referred to ANC Youth League president Julius Malema, who has said he is willing to kill for ANC president Zuma. The group of Zuma supporters carrying posters announcing his visit to Soweto on November 2 - the same day of Lekota's convention - also sang the ANC president's trademark song Umshini wami.

Ousted Congress of SA Trade Unions president Willie Madisha said the protesters had been organised to disrupt the public meeting and cause violence."Unless something is done, we are going to get involved in very serious violence in this country," Madisha said."We have got to say that this is wrong. We cannot allow this type of thing."

Lekota supporters carried posters with slogans, including "Bring back ANC from warlords", "Malema a danger to democracy", "We are not dogs, we only hate crime and corruption". At least 30 posters with pictures of Zuma had been put up on the fence outside the venue.

Ally Mosina, 30, who attended the Lekota meeting, said he did not mind the Zuma posters because South Africa was a multi-party democracy.

"This is not about Terror Lekota," Mosina said. "It's about us, as sober-minded comrades who want to defend the gains we've made, we want to defend the Constitution."

The main reason for anger at the ANC leadership elected at Polokwane in December was their decision to remove former president Thabo Mbeki from office, Mosina said.

"That decision was taken over a bottle of whisky and a few cigars." They should have consulted the ANC branches. It is not a shebeen that they are running here." Lekota was among a string of cabinet ministers who resigned in loyalty to Mbeki when the ANC national executive committee decided to axe him.

He has criticised the new ANC leadership for deviating from ANC policies and suggesting a political solution to the fraud and corruption charges Zuma faced.Zuma supporter Wilfred Malapane said Lekota was a "fat cat" who wanted to hold onto power." They think we are stupid. To hell with them, they are not welcome here," said Malapane. "They always want to be in power, they always want to remain fat cats, they are trying to destroy the ANC."

Madisha, Shilowa and former defence minister Mluleki George have thrown their weight behind Lekota, who is expected to launch a party on December 16. Meanwhile, Sapa reports that ANC Women's League president Angie Motshekga will not apologise for her "dogs" statement. She had not intended to offend anyone, the ANC said on Thursday.

Referring to dissidents led by Lekota, Motshekga said on Monday: "Now that the dogs are leaving, there will be peace and we will be stronger. "The dogs arrived in the ANC and they have left."

ANC spokesperson Brian Sokutu said on Thursday that Motshekga would not be making an apology. "Angie Motshekga, the president of the ANC Women's League, did not intend to offend anyone when she said the ANC did not go to the dogs." All she was saying after the resignations of some former ANC leaders is that the ANC is still intact - and therefore this does not warrant any apology to the UDM or any other opposition party."

'Robbers becoming more violent'

South Africa's house robbers are becoming more violent as attacks against homeowners escalate.

This was the message from University of South Africa crime researcher, Dr Rudolph Zinn when he spoke in Pretoria on Thursday. Zinn has recently finished a report on the profiling of house robbers, which is expected to save thousands of South Africans.Zinn interviewed 30 prisoners in six Gauteng prisons for house robbery, a sub-category of robbery with aggravating circumstances. The 30 are incarcerated in Pretoria Central, Zonderwater, Baviaanspoort, Modder B, Leeukop and Johannesburg prisons.

Between the 2002-2003 and 2006-2007 financial years, house robberies increased by 29 percent, with 12 761 attacks occurring in the 2006/07 financial year. "Between the 2006/07 and 2007/08 financial years, these attacks increased by 25 percent, with 40 house robberies occurring every day in South Africa, 20 of them in Gauteng."

The study, which is backed up by the police who have conducted similar research, revealed that those interviewed had, in total committed 2 099 crimes, with 20 of the offenders admitting they were involved in 2 051 crimes which they had yet to be convicted for. Zinn said 83 percent of those surveyed were South Africans, aged between 19 and 26, with 76 percent of them having left school between Grade 8 and Grade 12.

"Although 70 percent of those were unemployed when caught, many previously had had jobs but had quit because they made more money through crime.

"The study showed offenders targeted all areas regardless of whether the suburbs were affluent or not. "As long as they believe they can make 'a quick' buck they will 'hit' the house."

The study revealed a huge element of greed behind house robberies, with only 35 percent of house robbers committing these crimes for survival, while the remainder would squander it on flashy cars, houses and clothes. On average, house robbers will commit 103 crimes over more than seven years, before they are caught for the first time, with 22 percent of them also committing farm attacks. "These attacks are not politically motivated, but are carried out for various reasons, including that a farm is a soft target.

"The study also shows that house robbers are extremely violent, with 97 percent using firearms in the attacks, and 30 percent committing murder, 13 percent raping and torturing their victims.

"Torture, which involves anything from molten plastic to boiling water and hot irons, is carried out, especially against women and children, to ensure that the homeowner hands over all of his valuables such as cash and jewellery."

Zinn said the fight against house robberies was not being won because police were not gathering intelligence from convicted house robbers as was done by their international counterparts on things such as modus operandi. He said the study showed that 80 percent of those involved in such crimes did not have prior military training and that attacks occurred between 10 and 30 minutes drive away from where the robbers lived. About 77 percent of the attacks were based on inside information gained from employees at the homes, with the majority of the attacks taking place between 7pm and midnight.

He said the level of security at the houses did not matter, as only 25 percent of attacks took place in neighbourhoods with poor security measures.

"When those involved in the attacks see a house with high security measures they know that something valuable is being kept inside and want it." He said offenders revealed the biggest deterrent to house robbers was dogs, especially small dogs who made lots of noise, razor wire security fences, CCTV cameras, early warning security beams and lights and houses which were relatively open in which neighbours could see if an attack was taking place.

Cape Town - The Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) on Thursday welcomed the findings of a survey by Proudfoot Consulting, which revealed that South Africans are as productive as workers in Germany, Brazil, France and the United States.

Almost a quarter of South African managers surveyed in the company's eighth Global Productivity Survey, reported that their companies experienced productivity increases of more than 15% in 2007.

The survey included more than 1 250 in-depth interviews with senior company officials. Companies with yearly turnover in excess of $100m in 12 countries and six industries were included in the survey.

Although internal communication issues were identified as the second leading barrier to improved productivity worldwide, this was not the case in South Africa. Only 20% of South African managers identified these issues as a key barrier, ranking it sixth in the market. By contrast, managers in Brazil (47%) and Spain (39%) ranked this the number one barrier to improved productivity in their markets.

A closer look at the automotive sector showed that 19.3% of automotive companies experienced productivity increases of more than 15% in 2007, classifying them as "high performers". Automotive sector managers believed their companies could potentially increase their productivity by 13% over the next two years, the third-lowest potential productivity improvement among sectors studied.

Patrick Craven, the federation spokesperson, said: "South African workers, especially car workers, are thus shown to be amongst the most productive in the world. Yet this is certainly not reflected in their wages.

"The share of national income going to wages has been falling. The workers' share in the national income has been on the decline since 1981 and has continued to decline in the first 14 years of democracy. Meanwhile the share of profits continues to increase, boosted as we now know, by the increased productivity of workers. Income inequality between workers and top executives is also high and growing."

Craven warned that Cosatu and its affiliates will be reminding the employers of these figures whenever they claim they cannot afford workers' claims for increases in their meagre wages, despite the extra profits they have made from increased productivity.

Hospital time bomb is ticking

Premature babies who might have had a fighting chance at life, are dying at Addington Hospital because it lacks crucial equipment.
According to a senior paediatrician with links to the hospital, it has never had a specialised paediatric oxygen machine - despite the fact that provincial hospital guidelines stated that, to function optimally, paediatric facilities must have one. The specialised machine (known as a CPAP) delivers oxygen to a baby's underdeveloped lungs without causing irreparable damage. "I've lost count of how many times they (the staff in the Addington paediatric ward) have applied for the vital machine, only to be told there's no budget available," said the source.

"It's small wonder, really, since they haven't even been given a replacement ventilator for premature babies, although the old one they are using is virtually beyond repair. "The Daily News reported on the shocking state of government hospitals in KwaZulu-Natal, all of which are struggling to provide an efficient service to patients in the face of severe staff shortages and shortage or lack of essential equipment.
Six doctors interviewed claimed the department of health has frozen staff replacements to recoup a budgetary overspend. This was denied by the department, whose spokesperson, Leon Mbangwa, asserted that posts had "simply been rationalised" to cut unnecessary costs.

At Greys Hospital, a source in the anaesthetic department said it was "a small miracle" that they had not yet lost patients under anaesthesia. "The time bomb is ticking, though. It is bound to happen sooner or later, unless we get the equipment we so desperately need," she said. "There have been a number of cases where patients at Greys almost died. When equipment fails, an alert and expert doctor can often still rescue the patient. It's like engines falling off planes, though. "If that continues to happen on a regular basis, skill alone won't be able to save some patients. We've had a number of incidents of significant harm when ICU ventilators have malfunctioned, causing lung damage to patients."
A specialist who resigned from Port Shepstone General Hospital recently said management at that hospital had "total disregard" for doctors' pleas to fill critical posts. "We repeatedly made it clear that we were headed for crisis, and would not be able to staff the emergency or anaesthetic wards on a 24-hour basis unless we were given specialists to fill the vacant posts," he said. "Interns are manning the emergency ward part of the time. They are out of their depth and do not have the experience or qualifications to handle serious cases. It is traumatic for them and detrimental to the system."
The doctor said that the crisis, coupled with bureaucratic indifference, had resulted in his resignation. "When I drive past the hospital I think of the difference that I could be making, but then I remind myself that I won't have to have deaths on my conscience if they occur because of the present crisis."
While Port Shepstone and Greys hospitals are among those hardest hit by staff shortages, another source said the bureaucratic infrastructure at the two institutions was massive. "There are five human resources employees to every doctor," he said. "The doctors have pleaded with the administration to cut down on non-essential staff, but they are ignored. Five medical officers from Port Shepstone have emigrated to Canada in recent months.
"They'd had enough and couldn't bear the daily deterioration and being treated as simpletons." The doctor revealed that the waiting list for surgical procedures at Port Shepstone was huge. "The hospital is at present performing virtually no elective surgery," he said. "There is a backlog of people with trauma. Patients with fractured femurs are being sent home to wait three months or more until they can be operated on."
The anaesthetist at Greys said that "up to 70 percent" of the anaesthetists she had encountered in the province were considering cutting their ties with South Africa."It's about the push factor now, rather than the pull factor when it comes to emigration. Medical personnel aren't going overseas for better money any more. Many are accepting similar salaries for lesser positions just to get out of this madness and practise ethical, responsible medicine," she said.

For those of you who missed it, if you scroll down a couple of posts, you will see the latest cartoon that has landed Zapiro in the line of some really nasty fire. As much as it is to be expected, and I agree whole heatedly with the message the cartoonist brings across, I cannot help feeling worried about the mans safety and that of his family this time.

I know he has faced legal action in the past from individuals he has ripped off in his 'toons', but this crowd that is threatening and baring their teeth are a pretty nasty bunch of militant rabble, who have recently been beating all sorts of war drums about 'Killing for Zooma' and I don't know what all other threatening chatter.

It is not only the Zapiro cartoon issue, which has served to loosen up the motor mouths of African geniuses who can't think further than 5 seconds into the future... who again spew more worrying threats, but check out the 'Other Matters'. Now some will say, this crowd of clowns in the SACP and ANCYL are too stupid or useless to carry through on their threats. But I disagree. These are the leaders who do actually stir up the great unwashed into a seething frenzy. They are not the politicians who spend the whole day in an Armani suit, swigging Johnny Black and pretending to be sophisticated. This is the same crowd who mobilize strike action, and pull school kids out from behind their school desks to run amok through the city streets rampaging and destroying.

I'm not being a wuss here now, but all this kind of talk we have been hearing from them just backs up everything UG said in the latest couple of posts below, and it leaves me absolutely gobsmacked to read comments to those posts which still say that 'WE'...this blog if you don't mind...are lying about South Africa's wild chimpout! Ja, struzz nutz...that despite the fact that we always link everything we post to source!

Well my friends...what can I say? I worry about you folk back in South Africa, and that is why I got involved in this blog in the first place. The white minority is like chum in shark infested waters the way I see it, they will be eaten up by crime and bled dry by the government.. COSATU KZN held its extended secretariat on 9th September 2008. The meeting was attended by affiliate chairpersons and secretaries. It deliberated and pronounced itself on the issues that are detailed hereunder.

As COSATU KZN we are very worried about death threats that are levelled against our members at Ulundi. The death threats to our members followed the launch of a COSATU local structure at Ulundi. We take these threats very serious because they are being made on the wake of the arms discovery at Inquthu. Equally, we do know the correlation between these threats and the training of mercenaries at Mlaba camp.

We remain puzzled by the conspicuous silence of the tribal Chief and the Chief Minister himself, Mangosuthu Gatsha Buthelezi. We are puzzled because Mr Terror Lekota was denied access to the Mahlabathini area because he was said to have not reported his visit to the Chief Minister.

The question we asked ourselves, were these alleged mercenaries given permission by the Chief. We, nonetheless, welcome the arrests that were made with a hope that the matter will not be treated like that of Mr Phillip Powell.

COSATU reaffirms its 2005, 4th Central Committee resolution to drop the charges against Comrade Jacob Zuma. We are vindicated by the campaign of the Ethekwini region of the ANC and accordingly we pledge our impeccable support for this campaign.

Secondarily, COSATU calls on the state President to reinstate Mr Jacob Zuma to his position as the Deputy President of the country. We are making this call with an understanding that Judge Hilary Squires distanced himself from the remarks of "a generally corrupt relationship between Mr Zuma and Mr Shaik".

We are of the view that the President was misled by this poisonous lie which was peddled by the media. The continued persecution of Mr Jacob Zuma by the state institutions is validated by the affidavit of Mr Charles Kasinja Modise to the Pietermaritzburg high court.

We remain, steadfastly, committed to the view that Jacob Zuma is a victim of a political conspiracy by those who are happy with the widening gap between the rich and the poor.

It is no sheer coincidence that an offensive against the Zuma leadership is heightened at the time when interest rates, food prices, electricity costs and general living conditions are on the hike.

Proponents and supporters of the status quo have identified Zuma leadership as a potential threat because workers and the poor have identified him as the beacon of hope. The rich people (? Gee...I wonder who they are) in our society are using their influence over state institutions and the fourth estate to barricade Zuma from becoming the next state president.

Cartoons bearing derogatory depictions are consistent with this campaign. Their venomous hatred for democracy continue to abuse the constitutional enshrined freedom of expression. Zapiro's cartoon is reminiscent of the apartheid "swartgevaar" threat that was used by the ruling class in order to elicit blind loyalty among the white people.

Zapiro is a disgrace to the positive role of the media. We believe he has reduced himself to a level of a political instrument for the ruling class. After all Mr John Horak (in his submission to the TRC) did warn about South African media that is infested with agents for certain interests. (...Zapiro..? an agent?..as in spy, worm, grass..super snoop?..nou toe nou..!)

COSATU KZN believes that the matter pertaining to Jacob Zuma is an economic matter. Accordingly, we seek to engage the Durban Chamber of Commerce, BMF and other role players. The forthcoming Provincial executive committee meeting will explore the possibility of embarking on an infinite strike until the matter is brought to finality. Enough is enough.

The extended secretariat expressed its disappointment with the state of soccer in the country. We were flabbergasted by Mr Raymond Hack's assertion that the failure of national team to qualify for the AFCON is not a train smash.

We believe it is plane crash. This below par performance by our soccer administrators is taking place while we are witnessing the unprecedented level of self enrichment by them. There is absolutely no commitment to the development of women's football. The FIFA World Cup is not inspiring development of soccer talent at local community level and schools' level.

ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema today vowed to "eliminate any force" blocking ANC president Jacob Zuma’s path to the presidency. Speaking at a celebration of the ANCYL’s 64th birthday, he told media that the "Malema generation" would be responsible for making Zuma president of the country.
"Whatever the judgment... come 2009, Zuma will be president," said Malema, referring to the Pietermaritzburg High Court ruling expected on Friday on whether Zuma’s corruption charges should be scrapped.
"Any force on our way we will eliminate. We are on a mission here. We will crush you. It doesn’t matter who you are, even if you are in the ANC," Malema said to loud applause.
He expressed optimism that the court application to have the case against Zuma dropped would go in his favour.
"We believe in that judge... he looked very sober to us... that’s why we are so convinced that we are going to get a positive judgment."

Matrics warned to expect "extremely tough" exam papers JOHANNESBURG.

South Africa's education department has warned matrics to expect an exceptionally tough final examination this year, saying that they would have to spell their names correctly on their scripts in order to pass. According to a spokesman, the new standardised papers would "separate the wheat from the sheep and the chaff from the goats".

Education Ministry spokesman Aristotle Nkosi said that the more demanding exam papers had come as a shock to many in the education system, especially teachers who had not yet covered correct spelling of names in the syllabus.

He confirmed that the country's largest labour unions were threatening legal action against the Ministry of Education and had described the new exam papers as "rasist and diskriminatory towards teechers" on the grounds that many of their members had not yet learned to spell their own names correctly and were being placed in traumatic situations for which they had not been trained, such as having to teach children in a classroom.

However he said the new exams were part of the Ministry's effort to produce young people able to compete in a globalised world. "We want to send a clear message out to the giants of the developing world," said Nkosi. "We want them to recognise the a South African education is not something to be trifled with, and that we are producing cheap labour more quickly and with a smaller investment than they are.

"We want them to know that wherever there's a Chinese person shovelling coal onto a Liberian cargo ship, there'll be a South African shovelling coal twice as fast.

"We want them to know that wherever there's an Indian squatting over a fire, burning computer components to extract mercury and lead, there'll be a South African squatting over a bigger, better fire, extracting more mercury and lead, more cheaply."

Nkosi confirmed that subjects would no longer be examined on the Standard- and Lower Grade, but he was quick to reassure pupils who had been studying subjects on these grades that their talents would not be wasted. "You form a vital part of our country's future, whether as ballot checkers in the next general election, or as data capturers at Home Affairs, or as public relations officers at the 2010 World Cup," he said.

Meanwhile the Ministry has confirmed that senior officials were unable to attend the briefing as they were attending their children's cello recitals and polo matches at various private schools in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg.

Cosas defends Zuma march, calls for voting age to be lowered to 7 JOHANNESBURG.

The Congress of South African Students has defended last week's action in which it forced schoolchildren to leave their classes and march in support of Jacob Zuma, saying that education was no longer a necessity in South Africa.

"Many of us don't have a secondary education," said a Cosas spokesman, "and it hasn't hurt our chances of getting high-paying jobs in Government."

Hundreds of schoolchildren were rounded up by Cosas in township schools around Johannesburg and taken by bus and train to the city centre where they protested Zuma's innocence by sucking lollipops, braiding each others' hair, and writing inspirational messages about Beyonce Knowles in TipEx on their blazers.

Spokesman Facebrick Ndlovu dismissed criticisms that the march should have taken place on a Saturday instead of a school day, and also that Cosas was squandering taxpayers' money.

"I have personally been told by many of our child cadres that they felt the march was a success largely because it happened on a school day," he said. "In fact they have demanded that Cosas stage a similar march every Friday, and perhaps some Thursdays as well, in order to fully enflame their patriotic zeal." He added that the pupils had also asked for "donuts, maybe a DJ, and a jumping castle, also to increase their awareness of the injustice facing Comrade Zuma".

"As for the issue of the funds we used, we will not apologize. The people who pay tax are mostly those who have passed Matric, and clearly this is not our demographic. "Nobody even vaguely connected with Cosas has passed Matric, or come close on a second or third attempt, and we are determined to uphold those traditions in the coming years."

He conceded that most of the children had not known why they had left their schools or what the march was about, but he denied that disrupting their exam preparation was helping to produce a generation of uncritical voting fodder. "Even if I knew what a fodder was, I would deny this," said Ndlovu. "We are simply helping nurture and develop new skills that that are in desperately short supply in this country."He said that these skills included "voting for Msholozi and writing protest manifestos in TipEx on the doors of public toilets".

Meanwhile Cosas has called on the government to lower the voting age to 7. National Chairperson Einstein Sodwana said that children needed to "have the burden of education lifted from them so that they can be free to fully engage in the revolution".

"If our Grade One's can vote, why expend resources on controversial and damaging activities like teaching them how to read or do sums?

"In our view we need a much more nurturing education system for our little ones, whereby all the do at school is Show And Tell. "We show them a picture of Msholozi, and tell them to vote for him."

HOUSE INVASION HATE CRIME: It's personal, YT...

The article below appeared in the Sunday Independent this past weekend. Although well-written and an interesting perspective on the scourge of urban terrorism disguised as ordinary crime, the article is carefully sanitised not to make references to:

The race of the perpetrator which in 99.5 % of all cases is black;

The race of the victims which in 80% of all cases are White;

The extreme racist abuse, anti-White political statements and sentiments expressed by the vast majority of black criminals that accompany these acts of terrorism at the rate of 40 home invasions per day;

Evidence of several black gangs having mistakenly invaded non-White homes, to apologise to their non-White victims that they thought they were Whites, and then immediately leaving;

The fact that black criminals commit these deeds with impunity and a commitment predicated on the malicious ANC-propagated belief that they are "repossessing from Whites what was stolen from blacks in the first place;

The murderousness of these hit squads which include cold-blooded executions of men in front of their wives and children, the rape and sodomy of women and young girls in front of their husbands, family members and children;

The incidences of extended torture and sadistic savagery which include merciless assault, burning helpless White victims for hours on end with hot clothes or soldering irons, boiling water, and dripping burning plastic, acid and even petrol on children and women which can continue for up to six to eight hours; cutting off victim's fingers and toes with pruning shears and knives;

Extensive humiliation and psychological abuse by spitting, urinating and defecating on victims, or on their furniture or bedroom & lounge carpets, smashing of precious family heirlooms;

The refusal of predominantly black SA Police officers to investigate, arrest or make even the slightest attempt to track down the perpetrators, and in numerous cases the active, brazen involvement of uniformed police themselves in these cases;

The actions of police officers country wide, where White victims of these attacks who dared to defend themselves with deadly force are immediately disarmed, arrested and charged with murder or attempted murder;

The obstructive actions and policies of central, provincial and municipal governments to actively aid and abet the commissioning of these crimes by strongly opposing civic defensive measures such as street closures and boomed communities, outright refusal or for years purposely delaying any such permit applications while arguing that restricted access is somehow "racist", and even sending municipal workers to remove fences and structures erected by besieged, desperate residents;

The resolute & steadfast refusal of even our State President to acknowledge and admit that any crime problem exists, further exacerbated by deliberate obfuscation of armies of denialist spin doctors in the MSM and Academia, and of these naysayers to purposely diminish the seriousness of the crisis by creating diversions such as blaming barbarism & savagery on poverty, Apartheid and other false or lesser causes;

The openly racist statements and anti-White incitement of senior government ministers & ANC party officials to their black constituents exhorting them to crime and violence;

The callous and thinly disguised contempt for especially White crime victims by senior ministers, such as evidenced by "Safety & Security" Minister Charles Nqakula's derisive exhortation that Whites can "whine about crime until they are blue in the face, or they can leave the country".The massive body of evidence which proves that high-ranking government officials consorting socially with known criminal gangs (Cash heist & bank robber kingpin "Fingers Rabotapi" and ANC Youth League leader & deputy minister Peter Mokaba - of the Kill The Boer, Kill the Farmer fame - now both deceased)

The unmistakable but circumstantial rise in bank robberies and cash heists shortly before every South African election, spurring rumours that major black political parties (including those in government) are behind these crimes so as to finance their election campaigns;The alleged cooperation between former terrorist organisations such as the ANC & PAC with Zimbabwean militias in the commissioning of bank & cash heists, as well as urban attacks on residential homes, agricultural freehold properties and farms, for purposes of financing the bankrupt Mugabe regime.

The aforegoing, read together with ANC leaders' statements in the run-up to the 1994 elections that they will "make the country ungovernable" and "bring terror to the White neighbourhoods" is prima facie evidence of a state-sponsored racial terror campaign designed and orchestrated from the highest levels of South African government.

It is common knowledge that the 1994 General Elections was massively fraudulent and farcical, yet was declared as free & fair by local and international observers fearful of a full-blown civil war had they not acceded to ANC demands to legitimise this highly defective process. Yet media spin continues to hold this up as the 'South African rainbow nation miracle" while nothing could be further from the truth.

Terrorist groups such as the USSR-trained & financed ANC and others have not deviated in the least from their stated revolutionary goals, except where they embraced new-found opportunities of self-enrichment and becoming so-called "Gucci communists". Increasing pressure from their impoverished and restive "grass roots" supporters are forcing them to make increasingly bizarre and impossible promises to their constituents, such as the expropriation legislation recently put on hold.

Thus they have no choice but to turn a blind eye to the criminal carnage directed primarily at Whites, and actively encourage this Jacobin Terror" as it takes the heat off them in having to deliver to a raging black populace what they cannot possibly deliver without massive nationalisation and statist interventions.

In the early '80's, the White Nationalist government realised that the only effective bulwark against a revolution of rising expectations was the creation of a black middle class, and actively set about to create one. The post-1994 South Africa has seen this middle class explode, with recent projections predicting their spending power exceeding that of Whites within the next two years.

A fat, happy and contented middle class is highly unlikely to be drawn into violent revolutionary activities, as the SA Communist Party and COSATU alliance partners found to their dismay. So they set about throwing open South African borders to indigent rabble from all over Africa. Nobody really has a clue as to how many illegal immigrants have flooded into the country since 1994, but estimates vary anywhere from 6 million to as much as 16 million. These illiterate, unschooled and totally unskilled locusts descended on our country, plugging into our electricity grid, social security and welfare systems and contributing greatly to the social instability caused by the demise of the former orderly White rule.

Their criminality as perpetrated against native blacks is chiefly behind the so-called "xenophobic" attacks seen during April and May this year. No effort whatsoever is being made to repatriate them, nor is the South African regime in the least interested in protecting her territorial integrity and sovereignty, or for that matter, her tax-paying populace from this parasitic vermin for the simple reason that it serves their purpose of creating an underclass which can be incited to violent revolution. The underlying ideology driving these policies is that of African racial nationalism - a black illegal immigrant from Nigeria or Mozambique with no skills or value to contribute, enjoys greater civil rights, protection and recognition than does a South African born White, degreed and experienced civil engineer, doctor or legal professional.

The ultimate goal of all these policies is to ensure the creation of a monstrous state predicated upon hard-core Stalinist communism on the one hand, and a racial Afro-Nazi reich dripping with the blood of ongoing White ethnic cleansing and genocide. The chess pieces are being manoeuvred into place for what is yet to come in this tragic, forlorn country. It will make the worst excesses of Zimbabwe, Angola, and Belgian Congo pale into insignificance - that much is guaranteed. The only real question remaining is when.

Informed guesstimates is that the masks and subterfuge will increasingly start slipping off in the next two years, as has been seen with the outrageous recent statements of the ANC Youth League, SA Communist Party and COSATU, with implementation of South Africa's worst nightmare starting in 2010 and beyond, under the stewardship of Jacob Zuma. Medium & long term analysis seems to indicate a disintegration of a unitary state, with civil wars & secession predicted for regions such as Natal and the Western Cape.

Warlordism in the style of Liberia and Sierra Leone will blight the country in 2020 and beyond, with the seeds of paramilitary militias clearly visible right now - just over one year ago, a huge group in excess of a thousand blacks massed on a farm on the Swaziland border. When confronted, they said that they were en route to military training camps in Swaziland and Mozambique.

No information was available as to which political or racial faction they belonged to, and a complete media blackout ensued. Just last week, this blog reported on the arrest of no less than 300 trainees in a Natal-based training camp. Most of these combatants belong to the Zulu IFP party, and told reporters that there were numerous more camps like that scattered all over the Natal interior. The IFP, a party active in parliamentary politics offered no statements or explanations for this incident.

Taking all these factors into account and trying to make some sense of the possible outcomes is not easy, but its fair to say that growing White angst of a Mad Max style anarchy far worse than our trekking settler pioneers encountered 200 years ago is, to put it mildly, not entirely unfounded. History has a habit of repeating itself, and there is no dearth of worst case scenarios to refer to in plotting what our grim future holds.

Crime in SA a catch-22 situation

It was 4:30am when Lyle Cooper's dogs started barking and he woke up. He drifted off to sleep until the dogs started up again and he heard metal scraping.

Awake and anxious, he walked out of the bedroom to investigate. Seeing a light flickering in his wife's study, he moved down the passageway. It was then that he came face to face with an intruder.

Alarmed, Cooper turned and ran back to the bedroom towards the panic button. But as he was sprinting the burglar pulled out a gun and took a shot at him. Fortunately, the burglar aimed the weapon too low and missed. But the nightmare was just beginning for Cooper and his wife, Salot Immelman.

Immelman lay still under the duvet while Cooper lay on the floor, his face pressed into the wooden floorboards. While one burglar kept a gun trained on Cooper, the other scoured their Westdene home for valuables. Although practised in Kung fu, Cooper was at the complete mercy of the robbers.

"There were opportunities for me to do something but I thought if I get it wrong then the outcome would be bad, so I thought while things are going well and they were leaving my wife alone, I should just go along."

Eventually, the burglars left the house and jumped back over the wall. But that wasn't the end of the ordeal. The life-threatening experience and violent intrusion on their home had left a deep scar; their place of safety, their haven from the world had proved to be vulnerable.

"I thought I was safe in my home, now I know that I am not. I know that a considered focused person could get into my house if he wanted to and attack me. I loved my suburb; I didn't feel fearful," says the 35-year-old computer programmer.

Cooper isn't the only South African to have had the sanctity of his home violated. Over 14 000 South Africans were victims of residential robbery, that is a robbery committed by armed individuals who enter a private residence by force, in the past year, according to police.

Some South Africans are so fearful of being attacked in their homes that they have employed armed guards to be positioned outside their homes, according to Christo Kaltwasser, the control centre manager at Tactical Reaction Services, a security firm based in Johannesburg.

"It is not just affluent people, but families across Johannesburg who are hiring guards," says Kaltwasser. It costs R350 for a 12-hour shift and clients can hire the guards on a pro-rata basis but most Jo'burgers hire on a permanent basis, according to Kaltwasser. Following the burglary, Cooper beefed-up his security, installing an additional alarm with beams in his garden.

But security measures don't necessarily work to homeowners' advantage, posits Dr Johan Burger, the senior researcher for the crime, justice and politics programme at the Institute for Security Studies.

"Thieves rove around looking for visible signs of affluence; a double storey, grand cars all attract attention as well as extreme security measures. They believe that you must have something valuable to protect."

High-tech security measures may make our homes more impenetrable but, ultimately, such defence systems mean that thieves can only gain access by force. It is a catch-22 situation that many say is being perpetuated by insurance companies that are more interested in protecting material possessions than lives.

Angelo Haggiyannes, the director of Auto & General Insurance, says: "The insurance industry aims to help combat crime and protect consumers and their possessions. As such, we would never knowingly impose security requirements that would put clients' lives at risk. It would be short-sighted of us to not take every precaution in the fight against crime."

Haggiyannes says policyholders are not necessarily obliged to install security devices unless they have very poor physical security (no neighbours surrounding their property) and/or a history of break-ins. "In this case, burglar alarms are required," he says. Policyholders who have an alarm system linked to a reputable armed response company receive a discount on premiums.

The two youngsters who entered Cooper's home - estimated to be between the ages of 18 and 25 - were never caught. "They [the police] knew one of the assailants; he was always in trouble so they nicknamed him Zuma. They had him in custody before but couldn't keep him," says Cooper.

The police also told Cooper that because the South African Police Service (SAPS) didn't have an integrated database it would be hard to track down the suspects once they began operating in a new jurisdiction. "With the absence of a centralised system, I can't think what more they could have done aside from driving around the neighbourhood," says Cooper.

Gauteng is the mecca of residential robbery with 74,5 percent of cases registered in the province in 2007/2008. Eighty percent of carjackings recorded during the past year also occurred in Gauteng.

"My own view is that Gauteng is the richest and most unequal in economic and social terms. There are high levels of unemployment and the social problems are deeply rooted. The province is also the centre of organised crime," observes Firoz Cachalia, Gauteng's MEC for Community Safety.

The 2006/2007 period saw residential robbery in Gauteng skyrocket by 25 percent. In response to increases in residential robbery Cachalia launched "Operation Iron Fist", a six-month high-intensity policing initiative, in 2006 and "Operation Trio" a year later. But both initiatives were in reaction to crime rather than steps in a proactive plan.

Operation Trio's aim was to form clusters among 30 police stations located in areas where incidents of residential robbery, business robberies and hijacking were high. The clustering of police stations allowed the exchange of information, which proved successful. But it was not effective enough.

"What the public quite rightly expects is a sustainable reduction that changes their reality," says Cachalia. The nature of residential robbery is such that, even if such incidents decrease, feelings of fear persist.

"We live with this fear that we could be next. It is not an unrealistic fear because criminals target homes randomly," observes Burger. "As the number of victims of residential robberies increases, the more likely it becomes that you could become a victim of an attack."

Intensified policing programmes in Gauteng have brought down levels of violent crime and Cachalia has seen to the establishment of a Criminal Management Centre, which was set up at the provincial office two months ago.

It is "not operating optimally yet", but tasked with pooling and analysing information, Cachalia expects its staffers to identify and track down Gauteng's most wanted violent criminals. "The Crime Management Centre will strengthen the information base and analytic capabilities of the SAPS. In addition to gathering info, they will provide support to detectives on the ground station by station," he says.

According to the ISS's 2007 Victims Survey, less than 50 percent of the population believe the police are performing well. Many South Africans are turning to private detectives to solve crime. Brad Nathanson, a private investigator based in KwaZulu-Natal, says he deals with between six and 10 cases of residential robbery a month.

"A lot of people just want peace of mind. Often their staff are involved and they need to know who has been behind the burglary." Nathanson is an ex-policeman and, based on his experience, he is of the opinion that, while residential robberies can be tough to solve, the only real obstacle is time.

"I am not cleverer than the cops; it is all about time management. If you have a solid three to four days to spend on a case, than you are more likely to solve it."

Nathanson has found that in 75 percent of the residential robberies that he investigates, information about the home has been passed on by staff. "In the worst case scenarios the information has been sold by the domestic worker to information brokers in the townships."

If there were more of a developed sense of community among South Africans living in suburbia, residential robberies would be harder to pull off, suggests Nathanson. "Policemen can't be everywhere, people in the community need to open their eyes. So many South Africans don't even have a clue who is living on either side of them.

If you know your neighbour, you will know their staff and their comings and goings so that if something is amiss, you will recognise it immediately and be able to act."

There are many formal crime-preventing structures available to most South Africans; aside from Community Policing Forums, which see communities work with police, most neighbourhoods have active community associations that share information and, in some cases, implement crime-fighting strategies.

There are also national community networks, such as eBlockwatch, which uses the internet and cellphones to keep clusters of networks across the country in contact.
The ISS's 2007 Victims' Survey found, however, that the majority of South Africans do not take part in any community crime-prevention initiatives.

Cachalia suggests that South Africans expand their view of the "community" to encompass all citizens regardless of their class and race, campaigning for the upliftment of all.

"Affluent South Africans need to understand that social inequality is also driving crime and we have to fight for the improved living standards and social development of all South Africans if we want the situation to change," he warns.

South Africans need to put pressure on the government and other institutions to work on solving the long-term causes of crime, observes Burger. Overhauling the country's ineffectual criminal justice system would also have an effect, he says.

But Cachalia believes that there is light at the end of the tunnel; Johnny de Lange, the deputy justice minister, has agreed to pilot his plan to revamp the criminal justice system in Gauteng, which should see the police and public prosecutors in the province work together to prioritise violent crime.

However, the new schemes will have to be sustained over a long period of time before the public will begin to feel safe again. Improving the response time of emergency services and involving traffic law enforcement officers in crime prevention strategies and arrests, are just some of the other initiatives Cachalia has implemented in Gauteng.

All these schemes have come too late for Cooper, Byron Gerber, the Krugersdorp businessman who recently tried to hold the government accountable for the violent robbery at his home, and thousands of others who have suffered the physical, material and psychological consequences of violent crime.

The Problem of Evil

"The problem of evil" labels a unique contradiction with most concepts of god, such as the "God" that's defined by Christianity. Essentially, the problem of evil is the impossibility of explaining how children can get cancer if god exists.

There is an inconsistent set of three statements:

I. God is all-powerful.

II. God is all-good.

III. Evil exists.

All three statements can't be true. Take any two of them. If they are both true, then that implies that the third one is false. So if god is all-powerful and all-good, that would imply that evil can't exist. The problem, however, is that evil does exist. For our purposes here, evil is understood to mean the intrinsically regrettable. Examples of evil in this sense are disease, famine, all unnecessary suffering, and the systematic genocide of the White Race.

God is by definition a being who must be both all-powerful and all-good. Since statement number III -- "Evil exists" -- is obviously true, either I or II must be false. Therefore, there is no being who is both all-powerful and all-good. An omnipotent, omni-benevolent god (such as the Christian, Jewish, or Muslim deity) cannot and does not exist. When you examine the interaction of the attributes of omnipotence and omni-benevolence, the conclusion you inevitably reach is that omni-gods are omni-aqueous -- all wet.

Omnipotence and omniscience are mutually exclusive attributes

Christians claim their god is all-powerful and all-knowing. But this definition is contradictory. YHWH is a square circle and cannot exist as defined. Christianity can be disproved for the same reason an invisible green elf can be disproved. Something can't be invisible (meaning light passes through it) and green (meaning some light spectra gets reflected) at the same time, nor can something be omnipotent and omniscient at the same time.

Consider:

1. If the Christian god is omnipotent, then it can change the future. Thus it does not know the future, and so is not omniscient.
2. If the Christian god is omniscient, then it knows the future. Thus it cannot change the future, and so is not omnipotent.
3. The Christian god is both omnipotent and omniscient. But it cannot be both. Thus the Christian god is self-contradictory, and so cannot exist.

An omnipotent being would, by definition, have all the energy in the universe, or else it would not have all the power. If a god has all the energy, then we, therefore, must be part of that god, as we do contain part of the energy in the universe -- which suggests that the god in question is the universe itself, which destroys the notion that it is a separate intelligence unto itself. God then has omniscience, but no mind.

By their very nature, omniscience and omnipotence can't both exist at the same time. Just as you can't have both an irresistible force and an immovable object existing at the same time in the universe, so also you can't have omniscience and omnipotence existing in the same being.

As mentioned before, an omniscient god is on an immovable track of effects that he already knows are going to happen, forever. Omniscience, therefore, implies "omni-impotence", as the god would be completely powerless to perform any action that he did not fore-ordain. We are left with an infinite power with no power, and an infinite mind with no mind.

The miserable effects of Christ Insanity

If the Christian god exists (which is an impossibility), he sure isn't doing much to help the White Race. In fact, just the opposite. After almost 2,000 years, here are the effects of Christianity, according to Ben Klassen, Founder of Creativity:

1. The first immediate consequence was the destruction of the Roman Empire, a colossal setback for civilization as a whole.

2. For the next 1,000 years, the White Race wallowed in ignorant superstition, oppression, and poverty. The Dark Ages hung like an evil chain over Europe.

3. This was followed by a bloody and vicious series of religious wars. Take the Thirty Years War for example, which almost destroyed the German people and set them back hundreds of years.

4. It set the groundwork for the ongoing process of mongrelization of the White Race. Christian churches today are Zionism's biggest ally in pushing for "equality" and "brotherhood". After all, "we're all God's children."

Liberal churches preach nothing more than wholesale miscegenation, and fundamentalist churches preach that the Jews are God's untouchable Chosen People.

5. For hundreds and hundreds of years, the best and brightest of the White Race took vows of celibacy as priests, monks or nuns. Imagine the dysgenic effect this had on the White Race when carried out over several centuries.

6. If Christianity is so uplifting and constructive then why after almost 2,000 years hasn't it solved our problems? Why are countless Christian churches not doing a damn thing to solve any problems for the survival of our Race?

7. What, in fact, has Christianity ever done to help the White Race?

A lot of racialists will claim that at some Golden Age in the past, Christianity was pro-White. An impartial examination of history, however, fails to find any part of Christian history that was particularly Golden Age-ish. For many hundreds of years for example, during the heyday of the Catholic Church, the best and brightest of the White Race became priests, nuns, and monks who took vows of celibacy. True, there was a little bit of hanky-panky going on between priests and parishioners' daughters, but still one can imagine the overall awful effect that the unnatural stifling of reproductive duty had on the racial health of the White Race, especially since it was carried out over many dozens of generations.

What the White Race has needed is not Christianity, with all its suicidal advice, but a new religion, a Pro-White racial religion. That religion is Creativity.

Fundamental flaw of idea of perfect god

What about the idea that God doesn't make mistakes? There is a fundamental flaw with the idea of a perfect God. Christians argue that anything God does is, by definition, "just and right." There are two possibilities:

1. God doing something automatically makes it just and right. That's not morality, that's just "might makes right" taken to the furthest possible extreme. People don't like this line of thought applied to the Mossad or JDL, so why should it apply to God?

2. God is only capable of performing actions which are just and right. This implies a universal morality by which even God is bound, which contradicts the doctrine that God is the creator of all things; or else that God is not omnipotent because there are actions which are possible but which he would be incapable of performing.

Either way, there is no reason why one should accept that the actions described in the Bible were morally perfect when they fall far short of even basic human standards.

God can't be both omniscient and good

It's probably not possible for free will to exist if god is omniscient. Let's say that free will is possible. A typical White man, let's call him "Bob," freely chooses to do X. (Suppose X is some inherently evil act, such as torturing a puppy to death or marrying a coon.) God knows Bob will choose to do X even before Bob is even created. (Christians presume that god has created Bob and presume that god knows everything.)

What is the purpose of god making Bob in order to punish him later for doing things that god knew he was going to do before god even made Bob?Why doesn't god punish himself for making a being who god knows will diminish the world's quotient of moral good?

The second question that comes to mind is this: If god has a problem with evil then why would god make evil possible? If god has a problem with Bob doing evil then why would god create Bob in the first place? What makes evil possible is god and if evil exists it's because of god. This follows from god making evil possible and from the other assumption that god made everything.

If Christians assert that people are the cause of evil and not god, then note that people did not give themselves the capacity to be evil. Evil exists because god permitted it, according to this model of the universe. It's logically possible for god to have made it so that White people would not consciously harm one another.

Some Christian theologians assert that it is not established that people are evil, so let me define what I mean by people being evil. I'm signifying that there is a record of people harming other people, as well as harming their Race, and I'm defining these actions as people being evil to each other, or in shorthand, people are or can be evil.

If the world is not determined then god chose to make evil possible freely. To make evil possible is to allow its existence. Conversely, if one had such power, then one could disallow its existence. Therefore, god is evil; that is, has the quality of being evil, by allowing the conditions to be set such that conscious harm can be done by beings to other beings that this god creates.

The objection Christian theologians have to this might be that god is not evil because god permits freedom of action, and it's people who freely choose to do evil. The answer to this is, simply, if god knows that permitting freedom of action will result certainly with evil action then god has complicity in that evil.

If one knowingly allows his kids to play with dangerous fireworks, and knows that this will increase the likelihood of injury to his kids, and on top of that knows with certainty that this will be the case, then he is responsible for the harm to his children that results.

Moreover, he is hardly in a position to act as if he bore no responsibility to any resultant injuries or death by dint of the fact that he did not himself actually pull the trigger.

Summary

Round squares can't exist (since round and square are mutually exclusive attributes). So do round squares exist? Of course not. The same principle applies to many of the attributes affixed on god.

1. God cannot be both omniscient and have a free will, and without a free will god is an arbitrarily defined cause and not a creator, and did not create the universe.

2. God cannot be omniscient if we have free will (unless he exists wholly outside our dimension of time, in which case though he is meaninglessly defined).

3. God cannot be omniscient, omni-benevolent and omnipotent or God would recognize evil in the world, would care to stop it, and would have the power to stop it, but there is evil in the world and God does nothing. And a slight variation: if God wanted us to be saved and he's omnipotent he could have and would have made his presence clearly known, but he hasn't.

4. Omniscience is logically impossible for any meaningfully defined being; omniscience also violates quantum mechanics. This is because to be meaningful it must be physical and have a physical mind, but then God's knowledge about the world and his knowledge about himself exceeds the memory capacity of the universe (God's mind must store information about all particles + the information about the part of his mind that stores that + the information about that and so on.)

5. It's logically impossible for any being or thing to have caused or created the universe since to do so it would have to exist before time, which is nonsense. Therefore God cannot have created the universe.

Each point should be read as falsifying a particular definition of God (e.g., creator of the universe; omniscient, omni-benevolent and omnipotent); each one shows some logically contradictory property in the common Christian definition, and shows that the Christian God does not exist.

Furthermore, the Problem of Evil shows how we're lucky that God doesn't exist. If God did exist, he would be evil. It would be the supreme, infinite, evil scandal. It would be as if Charles Manson were in charge of the universe. Let us therefore rejoice, knowing that the evil, bloodthirsty Yahweh is only the figment of tortured imaginations.

The true Supreme Being isn't anything supernatural; instead the true Supreme Being is the White Race. The religion that sets Race as its highest tenet is Creativity, under Reverend Matt Hale, Pontifex Maximus of the World Church of the Creator. RAHOWA!

Why is the Homecoming Revolution lying about the horrendous
SA crime epidemic?

40 middleclass families a day are attacked inside their own homes by feral gangs which rape, loot and kill at will... why don't they write about that?

One of the most ominous groups in South Africa must be the bank-sponsored 'non-profit' organisation which encourages expats to return with their families to the most crime-ridden and most dangerous country in the world. The Homecoming Revolution's website at www.homecomingrevolution.co.za reveals a censorship-driven organisation which nearly ignores the fact that they may be luring gullible expats back to their deaths.

Why do they want to know so much personal information about us? The Homecoming Revolution movement is also rather sinister for various other reasons: one being the long and very detailed questionaire potential members are required to fill in -- very similar to a loan-application form at a bank -- and which includes demands to submit exceedingly detailed personal information such as birthdates, home addresses and even one's partner's names and places of employment...Why this overwhelming need for detailed personal information?

However their most ominous feature undoubtedly is their deliberate censorship and downright lies -- and their refusal to publish the true extent of the horrendous South African crime epidemic.

They completely deny the existence of the terror-reign by South Africa's feral, very violent armed youth gangs -- which are growing in numbers each day, and are targeting middle-class homes and businesses: often attacking, terrorising, murdering and gang-raping families inside their own homes, mainly in upper-class suburbs, and at the rate of 40 attacks a day...

The victims of these attacks mainly are white and Asian middle-class families -- indeed exactly the kind of people the Homecoming Revolution wants to lure back to SA. Their website is constantly overflowing with 'good-news' rubbish stories and even at times, downright lies to accomplish this goal. Paul Chambers, j_pchambers@btinternet.com, their London-based webmaster, in fact wrote (on Sept 8 2008) a most dangerous lie on the site ... claiming that 'SA is a safe destination for tourists, good news for the local economy..."

Safe for tourists? Who is kidding anybody here? The man persistently refuses to publish any of the many horrendous stories sent to him, detailing the many attacks and murders of tourists. Only yesterday, a Belgian tourist was still gunned down in cold blood and murdered right in front of his 18-year-old son...And these events very happen often.

CENSORSHIP

Members of Homecoming Revolution also complain that Chambers is constantly censoring and even deliberately changing the facts of crime-stories sent to him - for instance a piece on crime in South Africa was changed recently by Chambers -- to indicate that all this was happening in Australia instead...

Thus completely ignored and lied about outright by this sinister group of people -- backed by one of the most influential banking groups in Africa -- is the horrendous truth about South Africa. That truth is indeed more than hideous and does not make for happy reading and restful nights. Yet to protect people from making the terrible mistake of returning to South Africa with their families, this truth must be told, often, everywhere and in exact details...

That's why anyone thinking of returning or travelling to South Africa, should know what they are letting themselves in for: and the truth is that most middle class South African (white and Asian) families now are cowering in fear inside their high-security compounds and homes -- and aren't safe anywhere else either, including at the shops, at schools, en route anywhere, in their own driveways and at work...

These gangs were only recently described by the US Embassy as 'totally ruthless and eager to kill". In fact the Americans have withdrawn all their married officials and now pay 'high-risk' bonuses to any single employees still willing to work in South Africa, that's how dangerous it has become...

Not even the smallest babies are safe from this crime-epidemic: in one particularly horrific incident in the middle class tourist resort of Camps Bay near Cape Town, a family from the UK and a hotel's housekeeper were threatened at knife point not too long ago -- and then the large gang took the UK tourists' one-year-old son hostage -- until they'd handed over all their valuables and plundered their bank account. Don't see that kind of story on Homecoming Revolution's site, do we?

And more than 120 foreign travellers have also been robbed, attacked and even gang-raped and/or murdered by feral gangs this past year alone -- gangs who follow them from the airport to their holiday destinations. These gangs carry out huge numbers of armed robberies, gang-rapes and murders each day; gun down any police officer who gets in their way; and seem to take pleasure in terrorising especially white families inside their own homes.

It's a mystery why the Homecoming Revolution seems to believe that they can ever hide these horrific facts anyway -- as the details of the South African crime epidemic can be readily found online at the SA government's own SA Police Service statistics - access their 'documents' on http://www.saps.gov.za. The police website also features the dramatically long list of names of the tragically murdered SA police officers, mostly gunned down while fighting these heavily-armed gangs.

SA police officers have to work in war-like conditions every day, in which they have to engage in combat with huge gangs armed with AK47s, Uzis and other high-powered automatic weapons, while the cops are only armed with 9mm handguns and many don't have bulletproof-vests, either...

PICTURE -- Insp Ian Williams of Mitchell's Plain police station left, yesterday congratulated a very relieved Capt Harry Brickles, who captured a heavy-armed six-member gang which was shooting at him with Uzi automatics -- while he could fight back only with his 9mm handgun. Now here's a good-news story worth publishing by Homecoming South Africa -- so why don't they?

In fact such events showing the SA cops at their very best, are those 'good-news' miracles worth nothing and praising in the news media each time a courageous poorly-armed SA policeman still dares to risk his life and the future of his family -- and goes to battle against these thugs -- and even captures such ruthless gangs. For the price they pay is very high indeed.

Elite Sandringham more violent per capita than Sharpeville

One of the most elite suburbs in the country, Sandringham, for instance showed that this luxury, high-security suburb suffered an incredible 64 armed invasions of family homes -- and 28 armed daylight attacks on businesses from March 2007 to March 2008.Thirteen people were murdered there and there were 326 armed robberies, mostly in people's driveways and at local businesses - most in broad daylight. Those gangs aren't scared of any cops - and they all let us know it!

Even one of South Africa's wealthiest matriarchs, Mrs Bridget Oppenheimer of the De Beers mining empire, recently was robbed in the bedroom of her high-security, luxury seaside home in Durban.

Sharpeville: Now compare these statistics with the much more densely-populated and poorly-secured black SA townships such as Sharpeville (pop.150,000+ and still mushrooming more shanties each day) a 'high-crime' area according to the Homecoming Revolution, yet grossly overcrowded Sharpeville had 17 murders and 9 armed home-invasion robberies in that same time period...

One of the registered members of the Homecoming Revolution website, Riaan Moolman, has been very disturbed about this censorship, which he says is 'criminal and dangerous'. He and other members have been waging a determined battle with moderator Chambers to try and get them to even report some of these horrific crimes on their site -- so that expats who are planning to return home, at least know exactly what they are letting themselves in for.

Moolman tells us that 'it's downright criminal to encourage expats to return to South Africa without giving them all the information on this horrendous crime situation beforehand.'

'People don't want to know about people being murdered....' The Homecoming Revolution moderator simply deletes most of Moolman's efforts and those of others, placed there by members to correct their negligent reporting.

The personal email explanations from Chambers to Moolman as to why he is deleting his efforts, also reveal exactly how extensive their censorship of the SA crime situation really is: Chambers for instance claims that "the Homecoming Revolution is for people who want to come home, they do not want to know about people being murdered...' Chambers also -- highly inaccurately -- claims in his emails to Moolman that 'crime only happens in poor areas, not in so-called affluent white areas'..

There are persistent rumours -- constantly being denied -- of a sinister financial motive underlying the Homecoming Revolution - which describes itself as a non-profit organisation, and is sponsored by the influential First National Bank. Why are they so keen to lure expats back to South Africa that they are even willing to lie about the crime-epidemic? Another interesting aspect of the Homecoming Revolution management is that webmaster Chambers actually lives in the UK, where he works for a telecom company.

And Angel Jones, left - an advertising agency owner and one of the co-founders -- can afford to buy her 'apartheid-security' by living with her daughter in one of those high-security luxury suburbs in greater Johannesburg where, she and Chambers claim, crime doesn't exist.

When 30 years ago I resurrected Flashman, the bully in Thomas Hughes's Victorian novel Tom Brown's Schooldays, political correctness hadn't been heard of, and no exception was taken to my adopted hero's character, behaviour, attitude to women and subject races (indeed, any races, including his own) and general awfulness. On the contrary, it soon became evident that these were his main attractions. He was politically incorrect with a vengeance.

Through the Seventies and Eighties I led him on his disgraceful way, toadying, lying, cheating, running away, treating women as chattels, abusing inferiors of all colours, with only one redeeming virtue - the unsparing honesty with which he admitted to his faults, and even gloried in them.
And no one minded, or if they did, they didn't tell me. In all the many thousands of readers' letters I received, not one objected.
In the Nineties, a change began to take place. Reviewers and interviewers started describing Flashman (and me) as politically incorrect, which we are, though by no means in the same way.
This is fine by me. Flashman is my bread and butter, and if he wasn't an elitist, racist, sexist swine, I'd be selling bootlaces at street corners instead of being a successful popular writer.
But what I notice with amusement is that many commentators now draw attention to Flashy's (and my) political incorrectness in order to make a point of distancing themselves from it.
It's not that they dislike the books. But where once the non-PC thing could pass unremarked, they now feel they must warn readers that some may find Flashman offensive, and that his views are certainly not those of the interviewer or reviewer, God forbid.
I find the disclaimers alarming. They are almost a knee-jerk reaction and often rather a nervous one, as if the writer were saying: "Look, I'm not a racist or sexist. I hold the right views and I'm in line with modern enlightened thought, honestly."
They won't risk saying anything to which the PC lobby could take exception. And it is this that alarms me - the fear evident in so many sincere and honest folk of being thought out of step.
I first came across this in the United States, where the cancer has gone much deeper. As a screenwriter [at which Fraser was almost as successful as he was with the 12 Flashman novels; his best-known work was scripting the Three Musketeers films] I once put forward a script for a film called The Lone Ranger, in which I used a piece of Western history which had never been shown on screen and was as spectacular as it was shocking - and true.
The whisky traders of the American plains used to build little stockades, from which they passed out their ghastly rot-gut liquor through a small hatch to the Indians, who paid by shoving furs back though the hatch.

The result was that frenzied, drunken Indians who had run out of furs were besieging the stockade, while the traders sat snug inside and did not emerge until the Indians had either gone away or passed out.
Political correctness stormed onto the scene, red in tooth and claw. The word came down from on high that the scene would offend "Native Americans".
Their ancestors may have got pieeyed on moonshine but they didn't want to know it, and it must not be shown on screen. Damn history. Let's pretend it didn't happen because we don't like the look of it.
I think little of people who will deny their history because it doesn't present the picture they would like.
My forebears from the Highlands of Scotland were a fairly primitive, treacherous, blood-thirsty bunch and, as Robert Louis Stevenson once wrote, would have been none the worse for washing. Fine, let them be so depicted, if any film maker feels like it; better that than insulting, inaccurate drivel like Braveheart.
The philosophy of political correctness is now firmly entrenched over here, too, and at its core is a refusal to look the truth squarely in the face, unpalatable as it may be.
Political correctness is about denial, usually in the weasel circumlocutory jargon which distorts and evades and seldom stands up to honest analysis.
It comes in many guises, some of them so effective that the PC can be difficult to detect. The silly euphemisms, apparently harmless, but forever dripping to wear away common sense - the naivete of the phrase "a caring force for the future" on Remembrance poppy trays, which suggests that the army is some kind of peace corps, when in fact its true function is killing.
The continual attempt to soften and sanitise the harsh realities of life in the name of liberalism, in an effort to suppress truths unwelcome to the PC mind; the social engineering which plays down Christianity, demanding equal status for alien religions.
The selective distortions of history, so beloved by New Labour, denigrating Britain's past with such propaganda as hopelessly unbalanced accounts of the slave trade, laying all the blame on the white races, but carefully censoring the truth that not a slave could have come out of Africa without the active assistance of black slavers, and that the trade was only finally suppressed by the Royal Navy virtually single-handed.
In schools, the waging of war against examinations as "elitist" exercises which will undermine the confidence of those who fail - what an intelligent way to prepare children for real life in which competition and failure are inevitable, since both are what life, if not liberal lunacy, is about.
PC also demands that "stress", which used to be coped with by less sensitive generations, should now be compensated by huge cash payments lavished on griping incompetents who can't do their jobs, and on policemen and firemen "traumatised" by the normal hazards of work which their predecessors took for granted.
Furthermore, it makes grieving part of the national culture, as it was on such a nauseating scale when large areas were carpeted in rotting vegetation in "mourning" for the Princess of Wales; and it insists that anyone suffering ordinary hardship should be regarded as a "victim" - and, of course, be paid for it.
That PC should have become acceptable in Britain is a glaring symptom of the country's decline.
No generation has seen their country so altered, so turned upside down, as children like me born in the 20 years between the two world wars. In our adult lives Britain's entire national spirit, its philosophy, values and standards, have changed beyond belief.
Probably no country on earth has experienced such a revolution in thought and outlook and behaviour in so short a space.
Other lands have known what seem to be greater upheavals, the result of wars and revolutions, but these do not compare with the experience of a country which passed in less than a lifetime from being the mightiest empire in history, governing a quarter of mankind, to being a feeble little offshore island whose so-called leaders have lost the will and the courage, indeed the ability, to govern at all.
This is not a lament for past imperial glory, though I regret its inevitable passing, nor is it the raging of a die-hard Conservative.
I loathe all political parties, which I regard as inventions of the devil. My favourite prime minister was Sir Alec Douglas-Home, not because he was on the Right, but because he spent a year in office without, on his own admission, doing a damned thing.
This would not commend him to New Labour, who count all time lost when they're not wrecking the country.
I am deeply concerned for the United Kingdom and its future. I look at the old country as it was in my youth and as it is today and, to use a fine Scots word, I am scunnered.
I know that some things are wonderfully better than they used to be: the new miracles of surgery, public attitudes to the disabled, the health and well-being of children, intelligent concern for the environment, the massive strides in science and technology.
Yes, there are material blessings and benefits innumerable which were unknown in our youth.
But much has deteriorated. The United Kingdom has begun to look more like a Third World country, shabby, littered, ugly, run down, without purpose or direction, misruled by a typical Third World government, corrupt, incompetent and undemocratic.
My generation has seen the decay of ordinary morality, standards of decency, sportsmanship, politeness, respect for the law, family values, politics and education and religion, the very character of the British.
Oh how Blimpish this must sound to modern ears, how out of date, how blind to "the need for change and the novelty of a new age". But don't worry about me. It's the present generation with their permissive society, their anything-goes philosophy, and their generally laid-back, inyerface attitude I feel sorry for.
They regard themselves as a completely liberated society when in fact they are less free than any generation since the Middle Ages.
Indeed, there may never have been such an enslaved generation, in thrall to hang-ups, taboos, restrictions and oppressions unknown to their ancestors (to say nothing of being neck-deep in debt, thanks to a moneylender's economy).
We were freer by far 50 years ago - yes, even with conscription, censorship, direction of labour, rationing, and shortages of everything that nowadays is regarded as essential to enjoyment.
We still had liberty beyond modern understanding because we had other freedoms, the really important ones, that are denied to the youth of today.
We could say what we liked; they can't. We were not subject to the aggressive pressure of specialinterest minority groups; they are. We had no worries about race or sexual orientation; they have. We could, and did, differ from fashionable opinion with impunity, and would have laughed PC to scorn, had our society been weak and stupid enough to let it exist.
We had available to us an education system, public and private, that was the envy of the world. We had little reason to fear being mugged or raped (killed in war, maybe, but that was an acceptable hazard).
Our children could play in street and country in safety. We had few problems with bullies because society knew how to deal with bullying and was not afraid to punish it in ways that would send today's progressives into hysterics.
We did not know the stifling tyranny of a liberal establishment, determined to impose its views, and beginning to resemble George Orwell's Ministry of Truth.
Above all, we knew who we were and we lived in the knowledge that certain values and standards held true, and that our country, with all its faults and need for reforms, was sound at heart.
Not any more. I find it difficult to identify a time when the country was as badly governed as it has been in the past 50 years.
We have had the two worst Prime Ministers in our history - Edward Heath (who dragooned us into the Common Market) and Tony Blair. The harm these two have done to Britain is incalculable and almost certainly irreparable.
Whether the public can be blamed for letting them pursue their ruinous policies is debatable.
Short of assassination there is little people can do when their political masters have forgotten the true meaning of the democracy of which they are forever prating, are determined to have their own way at all costs and hold public opinion in contempt.
I feel I speak not just for myself but for the huge majority of my generation who think as I do but whose voices are so often lost in the clamour.
We are yesterday's people, the over-the-hill gang. (Yes, the old people - not the senior citizens or the time-challenged, but the old people.) Those of ultra-liberal views may take consolation from this - that my kind won't be around much longer, and then they can get on with wrecking civilisation in peace.
But they should beware. There may well be more who think like me than the liberal Left establishment likes to think. When my views were first published in book form in 2002, I was not surprised that almost all the reviewers were unfavourable. I had expected that my old-fashioned views would get a fairly hostile reception, but the bitterness did astonish me.
I had not realised how offensive the plain truth can be to the politically correct, how enraged they can be by its mere expression, and how deeply they detest the values and standards respected 50 years ago and which dinosaurs like me still believe in, God help us.
But the readers' reactions to the book were the exact opposite of critical opinion. I have never received such wholehearted and generous support.
For the first time in 30 years as a professional writer I had to fall back on a printed card thanking readers for writing, apologising because I could not reply personally to them all.
Most of the letters came from the older generation, but by no means all. I was made aware that among the middle-aged and people in their 20s and 30s there is a groundswell of anger and frustration at the damage done to Britain by so-called reformers and dishonest politicians who hardly bother to conceal their contempt for the public's wishes.
Plainly many thought they were alone in some reactionary minority. They had been led to think that they were voices muttering to themselves in the wilderness.
Well, you are not. There are more of you out there than you realise - very many more, perhaps even a majority.

Too funny what goes down in the UK these days...Just a follow up to the post on the gang mayhem in London, here is a link to a post about the gang battles that took place last week in London and the running street battles with police in Notting Hill. Seems media reports had the number of gangsters at around 40, whereas readers to the blog are saying it was more like 500 gangsters to 100 police.. well, well...aint that something!

A controversial race relations campaigner has called for the creation of "black schools" to "stem the avalanche of educational failure and the descent into violent gang culture".

Lee Jasper, who advised former London Mayor Ken Livingstone on equalities, said it was time the black community ran its own schools, with black teachers and black governors.

He said black schools and colleges could prove to be a "beacon of excellence" for the black community.

Mr Jasper said Jewish, Muslim and Hindu communities already had their own schools. And he accused the "liberal community" of dismissing the idea of black schools, while failing to address "institutional racism" within education.

The comments come after a study suggested that black Caribbean students are less likely to be entered for higher-tier science and maths exams because of low teacher expectations.

The study, conducted by Dr Steve Strand at Warwick University, noted that black Caribbean pupils are among those more likely to be excluded from school, or have special educational needs, including behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.

Mr Jasper said: "The fact is, it's time the black community ran its own schools, devised a curriculum that suited the needs of our children, employed teachers that look like the young people they are teaching."

Mr Jasper said black schools would be open to all races but would be "focused in terms of their ethos, ethics and curriculum to the needs of our children".

"Some of the greatest black leaders in the world - Dr Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, to name just two - attended all black schools and universities.

"The US has many historically black colleges and universities. They cater for the needs of the African American and they excel. I am not arguing here for a BNP-style 'apartheid education system'. I am talking about black business, parents, schools and our magnificent churches coming together and establishing schools that are open to all and are organised around the behavioural, pastoral, psychological and cultural requirements of black young people growing up in a economic environment that excludes black people."

An excellent comment from imd, which I reckon merits a post on its own.

It neatly summarises the thinking of the average Arsezanian Black mind and most worryingly of all is the fact that the concept of the rule of law, as well as the rights of the individual carry no weight at all. The fact is that they want a strong man to rule...just like the chiefs of old.

Oh and btw, I apologise for the cartoon - I suppose it is over the top, but then again, there is a measure of truth in it considering the thought processes and values.

That was John Robbie on 702 last night. The discussion carried on till after 10.30 pm last night.I was so amazed at what I was hearing - although one shouldn't be, by now - I didn't realise I was tuned in to 702. Temporary suspension of belief.

One black phoned in to say that the cartoon was published because the companies that advertise in the Sunday Times are all white owned and want to discredit Zuma. So BEE is an illusion as well, and so is Tokyo Sexwale having a significant shareholding in The Sunday Times. About 2 out of 10 of the blacks who phoned in were in favour of Zuma being forced to go to trial, which kind of settles things in favour of the majority who think he should go free.Robbie said he didn't think the shower on Zuma's head was relevant to the cartoon's message of the rape of justice. I also thought it slightly detracted from the rape of an ideology as opposed to having unprotected sex with a specific person or persons. Apart from that minor detail, the cartoon is bang on.

What most blacks want is a huge "kraal" system under a centralised chief. This would require the abolition of all white, civilised law. The justification from Zuma, Malema, Nzimande, Vavi and Mantashe for overriding the judiciary is that it is an obsolete legacy of apartheid. This is the most simplistic kind of blathering and is typical of the collective IQ of 75 of these 5 imbeciles.

The trouble is that there are kazillions of blacks out there who are even dumber i.e. brain dead and violent. They are zombies straight out of a Stephen King novel where there's nobody at home except a receptor connected to an evil master that tells them to "Kill, kill, kill" all non-zombies. An Unpopular History

I know Uhuru Guru just posted a post on white slavery, but I couldn't resist to post this follow up by a different author. Read it or leave it, but it has some interesting bits that were not in the last post which I thought you might enjoy. Also the I thought to show you a bit of a collection of Orientalist art work on the subject which I fished out from HERE...(go take a look at the rest). Art is not only a pretty decoration, it is also a documentation of history, times and events, and during the 1800's there was keen interest by artists in the history of white slavery, almost a perverse fantasy about the accounts told.
This is an article I found a while ago somewhere on line, but unfortunately I don't have the link anymore.
However, while I was scratching for the authors name, I also found a very scary story about white slavery in the Middle East in year 2000, and the sad saga of a young Russian boy who went to Europe to look for work, and was tricked by Arabs into going to work in Yemen. Unbeknown to him, he was sold in transit to Yemen by his Arabic traveling companions, and ended up being castrated and enslaved in the household of some wealthy Yemeni.
I do not know if this story is true, it appeared on some Russian publication and was translated on another website. I Googled it and found only references to it in Crylic. But you can give it a read HERE if you like..It's very frightening.

Mention the word 'slavery', and it will immediately conjure up pictures of negroid cotton pickers and sad savages being marched in chains by Arab slave traders, but very little is ever said about the enslavement of white European Christians.

In this day and age slavery is usually associated with forced prostitution, with many gullible and unsuspecting Eastern Europeans eager for work and a better life in the EU, falling prey to unscrupulous human traffickers. But there is nothing new under the sun, and to this day, both white men and women are still to be found as slaves, not only in in SM studio's and brothels of Europe paying off their 'transport costs', but also as genuine slaves in obscure places in north Africa and the middle east.

The enslavement of Christian women did not end with the Roman empire. For more than 1000 years the Islamic rulers of North Africa and the Near East regarded Christians as people of lesser status, only fit to be subjected and — if desired — to be enslaved.

It took Christians 1000 years more to realize that they should not enslave other Christians …). But the protection of the Quran does not extend to Jews or Christians.

One of the things that both the public and many scholars have tended to take as given is that slavery was always racial in nature – that only blacks have been slaves. But that is not true, We cannot think of slavery as something that only white people did to black people.”
ALSO it was religion and ethnicity, as much as race, that determined who became slaves.
Enslavement was a very real possibility for anyone who traveled in the Mediterranean, or who lived along the shores in places like Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, and even as far north as England and Iceland. The vast scope of slavery in North Africa has been ignored and minimized, in large part because it is on no one’s agenda to discuss what happened. The enslavement of Europeans doesn’t fit the general theme of European world conquest and colonialism that is central to scholarship on the early modern era.

Many of the countries that were victims of slavery, such as France and Spain, would later conquer and colonize the areas of North Africa where their citizens were once held as slaves. Maybe because of this history, Western scholars have thought of the Europeans primarily as “evil colonialists” and not as the victims they sometimes were.

It has been estimated that Arab pirates enslaved at least 1 million Europeans between 1530 and 1780, half of them female. The pirates not only attacked ships, but also raided coastal villages in the Mediterranean; but even the Atlantic coasts up Southern England were not safe from them. The male slaves were usually used for the galleys, the mines, or other hard work. Women, especially the beautiful ones, were put to other uses.

These women could be sold with impunity throughout the Islamic empires, abused by their masters, and forced to bear children for them just because they were Christians.

The palace at Makram was guarded around the clock. Armed guards manned the only entrance, and kept the huge doors closed and bolted, and opened only to allow known and authorized personnel to pass. At all hours, other guards patrolled atop the high perimeter walls. While making escape from the harem impossible, its real purpose was to keep out unwanted intruders.

Many years ago, during a mild sandstorm, bandits had scaled the walls of the old palace at Buraydah stealing precious jewelry and many slave girls. The ensuing sandstorm covered the abductor’s tracks and neither the jewelry nor the girls were recovered. After this loss, Ali’s father enforced the Turkish practice of marking by branding, to identify abducted or escaped slave girls should they be offered for sale in local markets or put to work in one of the well frequented brothels. All of Ali’s girls bore a mark—his, or that of a previous owner.

How valuable were slave girls that they were worth the risk of stealing? Blond haired European virgins less than sixteen years old were the most valuable and could be worth the price of twenty camels or more to those buyers who found them exceptionally attractive. A budding younger virgin, who showed good promise of things to come, could fetch the price of ten camels, her owner then putting her to work as a harem servant girl until her showings were full and regular. Girls who had lost their virginity varied widely in value depending on their age, color of skin and hair, and the fullness and firmness of that part of the female anatomy that most appealed to the buyer. Prices varied widely but were never less than the equivalent of three camels.

Warring between nations and tribes had always been the main source of slaves throughout history. Spoils flowed to the victors, the vanquished taken as slaves, and sold along with their seized possessions. Tribal war and rivalries yielded black African men and women slaves who arrived in Arabia ports by ship and boat, and in the Far East, gold purchased Asian girls who came back overland along with silks and other goods in one of the many trade caravans traveling the great Silk Road.

Ali owned one Asian girl, Briar Rose, sold off by her poor family, supposedly for household service in a wealthy man’s home, as was common practice with female offspring in India and the Far East. Briar Rose, taken westwards and sold to Arab slavers, never saw household service.

Pirate bounty was a large source of European girls. Raids mounted from pirate lairs dotted along the coast of the Barbary States, on ships passing through the narrow Straits of Gibraltar or becalmed in quiet waters yielded many captives. Those captured who were of noble birth, or wealthy, commanded ransoms in gold, but the fate of the poor was slavery.

It was common for a raiding party to return with a hundred or more captives after looting undefended towns along the coasts of the Iberian Peninsula, Ireland and Scandinavia. Captains of pirate vessels were wealthy and respected citizens in their home ports and as such, were beyond reproach. There they dallied with impunity with the choicest of their captives before delivering them for ransom, or selling them on to eager buyers.

As noted in the previous post, male white slaves tended to end up on the galleys, but some had another more interesting destination..

A bit of background on Eunuchs...

Harem women formed only half of the harem hierarchy. Eunuchs were the integral other half of the harem. Eunuchs were considered to be less than men and thus unable to be "tempted" by the harem women and would remain solely loyal to the Sultan. Eunuchs were castrated men and hence possessed no threat to the sanctity of the harem.

According to Muslim tradition, no man could lay his eyes on another man's harem, thus someone less than a man was required for the role of watchful guardianship over the harem women.

Eunuchs tended to be male prisoners of war or slaves, castrated before puberty and condemned to a life of servitude.

White eunuchs were first provided from the conquered Christian areas of Caucasia, Georgia, and Armenia. They were also culled from Hungarian, Slovenian, and German prisoners of war. These white eunuchs were captured during the conflicts that arouse between the Ottoman Empire and the Balkan countries.

Black eunuchs were captured from Egypt, Abyssinia and the Sudan. Black slaves were captured from the upper Nile and transported to markets on the Mediterranean Sea - Mecca, Medina, Beirut, Izmir and Istanbul. All eunuchs were castrated en route to the markets by Egyptian Christians or Jews, as Islam prohibited the practice of castration but not the usage of castrated slaves.
There were several different varieties of eunuchs:
-Sandali, or clean-shaven: The parts are swept off by a single cut of a razor, a tube (tin or wooden) is set in the urethra, the wound is cauterized with boiling oil, and the patient is planted in a fresh dung-hill. His diet is milk, and if under puberty he often survives.

-The eunuch whose penis is removed: He retains all the power of copulation and procreation without the wherewithal; and this, since the discovery of caoutchouc, has often been supplied.

-The eunuch, or classical thlibias and semivir, who has been rendered sexless by the removing of the testicles..., or by their being bruised..., twisted, seared or bandaged.

Black eunuchs tended to be of the first category: Sandali, while white eunuchs were of the second or third categories, thus have part or their entire penis intact. Because of their lack of parts, black eunuchs served in the harem, while white eunuchs served in the government (and away from the women). At the height of the Ottoman Empire, as many as six to eight hundred eunuchs served within the Seraglio (palace). Most eunuchs arrived as gifts from governors of different provinces. At the end of their training as young eunuch pages, eunuchs were assigned to service. White eunuchs were placed under the patronage of various government officials or even into the service of the Sultan himself (like in Topkapi Palace). If they were black eunuchs, they were placed into the service of a harem personage, such as a Kadin, or a daughter or sister of the Sultan. They could also serve under the Kizlar Agha (master of the girls), the Chief Black Eunuch.

Zapiro is in the firing line over a controversial cartoon that appeared in this week's Sunday Times. firing line over a controversial cartoon that appeared in this week's Sunday Times. The drawing shows African National Congress (ANC) leader Jacob Zuma unbuckling his belt in front of a woman who is being held down by leaders of the ANC, the South African Communist Party (SACP), the ANC Youth League and the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu).

The woman in the cartoon represents the justice system, so identified by a banner across her body -- implying that Zuma, together with the ANC and its alliance partners, is "raping" the judicial system.Zuma is currently facing corruption charges, though he has challenged the decision to charge him. Some of his supporters in the tripartite alliance insist the charges are part of a political plot to smear Zuma's name.

Zapiro told the Mail & Guardian Online on Monday of massive reaction to his cartoon. "Perhaps the biggest reaction ever in the shortest space of time," he said. He had expected the cartoon to be controversial, but not to this extent. "The idea of this cartoon hit me in the same way it has hit readers, I think. When the idea popped into my head, I thought it was too heavy," he said. "But, later I reversed this thought. I thought, this is exactly what I want to say."

In a statement on Monday, the ANC, SACP and ANC Youth League said they deplored the Sunday Times's abuse of press freedom by publishing a "disgusting cartoon" that "borders on defamation of character and insults the integrity of the secretary general of the ANC, comrade Gwede Mantashe, and alliance leaders".

Mantashe is one of the leaders holding down the woman in the cartoon.

"Zapiro has gone off the mark and he needs to be reminded of the basic tenets of press freedom for which insult and defamation are not counted amongst them," said the three parties."

We can only hope that the newspaper will find a suitable leadership other than the ranting dictator who finds joy in manipulating the truth," they added. "The ANC is keen that the public should get [Sunday Times editor Mondli] Makhanya to answer for abuse of press freedom by the Sunday Times."

According to Zapiro, his cartoon depicts the ANC, Cosatu, the ANCYL and the SACP putting their allegiance to Zuma above the criminal justice system. He said: "There are layers in this cartoon. The primary point is that Zuma is violating the justice system and the spirit of the Constitution. That violation is depicted as a rape."

The violation of institutions is often described as "the rape of institutions", he said, adding: "It has become part of the language and you can even find it in the Oxford dictionary."

Secondly, he said, it is part of the Greek tradition to represent aspects of society through human figures. "It has become general knowledge that justice is represented by a woman with scales of justice and a blindfold. It's a figure that we understand to be justice. The ANC, the ANCYL, SACP, Cosatu -- they know that, as every reader knows that. They do understand, but they pretend not to know that."

Zapiro said that in this cartoon, Zuma should be seen in a metaphorical context. "He is raping the justice system and they [Zuma's political allies] are complicit in that." He continued: "It's unfortunate for him [Zuma] that he comes with his history [of the rape trial]. But that's a secondary thing."

SACP spokesperson Malesela Maleka told the M&G Online he was not only disgusted by the Sunday Times cartoon, but also revolted by Zapiro's cartoon published in this week's M&G.

The M&G cartoon shows United States presidential candidate Barack Obama's nomination speech in a packed stadium, and then portrays Zuma holding his nomination speech in a stadium filled with his wives, children and lawyers.

Said Maleka: "Does Zuma have so many women to fill a stadium? Does he have so many lawyers? No. So these cartoons are wrong. They don't tell the truth, they are inaccurate."

He added: "Zuma is not a rapist. What Zapiro does is beyond the line."

Maleka said the ANC, Cosatu and the SACP are projected in Zapiro's Sunday Times cartoon as organisations that don't care about the criminal justice system.

"But if you read our statements you can only conclude that we are committed to the criminal justice system and that we want to run justice fairly to the people." Cosatu, demanding an apology from the Sunday Times, said it was also "utterly disgusted" by the Zapiro cartoon. In a statement the trade-union federation said the caricature depicts Zuma as a rapist, despite the ANC leader having been found not guilty of rape charges against him.

"It [the cartoon] was clearly intended to poison the minds of the readers against the ANC president and support the campaign to discredit him," Cosatu said. Secondly, according to Cosatu, using the image of a woman who is about to be raped to represent the justice system was grossly insensitive in the context of a crisis of rape and violence against women.

Zapiro said on Monday he felt saddened by the fact that the editor of the Sunday Times stood accused by the ANC of abusing press freedom, with the ruling party even calling for Makhanya's resignation. Makhanya is under "unbelievable pressure" now, and unfairly, Zapiro said. "I have enough brains to think about this cartoon myself. Mondli Makhanya only supported me."

In 2006, Zapiro was sued by Zuma in a R15-million defamation lawsuit for the cartoonist's depictions of the ANC leader around the time of his rape trial. Several South African newspapers were also named in the lawsuit.

The amount was later dropped to R10-million and, after the ANC national conference in Polokwane last year, Zuma stated that he was lowering it to R2-million, and that the case was only about "injuring his dignity", said Zapiro. No court date has been set. The Sunday Times was not available for comment on Monday.

Belgian man executed in front of son

Pretoria - A father who travelled from Belgium to South Africa for his son's 18th birthday, was shot dead in front of him early on Saturday morning.

After robbers killed the 45-year-old man in a security complex in Equestria, east of Pretoria, they held up and assaulted the son and his three friends - one of whom was a 17-year-old girl - for an hour-and-a-half. They also indecently assaulted the girl in front of the boys.

Police spokesperson Jan Sepato did not want to release the name of the man, as all of his next of kin had not yet been informed. The girl's mother said on Sunday night that she was totally oblivious to what was going on in the house across the road from her. She wanted to remain anonymous to protect her children's identities.

She said the deceased arrived in South Africa on Wednesday to be with his son, who had turned 18 on Thursday. "The boy and his father went to visit one of the boy's friends on Friday night. The friend, 19, is my daughter's boyfriend and lives across the road from us. My son, 17, and daughter also went to the friend.

"At about 00:10, three armed men stormed into the house. We think they got in through the door of the garage. "When they came into the house, the man jumped up. They immediately shot him in the chest. They then tied up the children with pieces of clothing, including a jacket from one of the robbers, which had 'Gert' printed on it.

"The children could hear as the man died next to them. The boy whose birthday it was, kept begging the robbers to let him help his father, but they would not listen." According to the woman, the robbers kept threatening to rape her daughter. The girl's brother pleaded with them to leave his sister alone, while the girl's friend insisted that they take everything and just leave. In spite of all their pleading, the robbers indecently assaulted the girl in front of the boys.

They also repeatedly hit the boys over the head with a piece of clothing in which a hard object had been wrapped up. The robbers fled on foot with a laptop, clothes and alcohol after they couldn't get a car going. The mother praised security company ADT and Netcare for their swift reaction, but added that she found a cigarette butt and cartridge on the scene when she cleaned it up late on Sunday afternoon. "I'm furious," she said.

"A man has been murdered and children were terrorised. Here is the forensic proof. How can police leave it on the scene?" Sepato said a case of murder and house robbery was being investigated. He did not want to comment on the evidence that the mother had found.

Man murdered execution-style at home

A Kilner Park resident was shot dead execution-style in what appears to have been a robbery at his Kastaiing Street home. At about 3am on Saturday Johannes Koekemoer (60) was shot once in the back of his head and died at the scene.

The man's wife was baking rusks in the kitchen when three armed suspects climbed through a window and surprised her. Police spokesperson Inspector Malose Mashiane said the suspects entered the bedroom and held down Koekemoer's wife, also aged 60.

"One of the suspects used a 9mm pistol and shot the husband once in the head," he said. "At the scene we recovered a 9mm casing and the projectile. Nothing was stolen from the house and the suspects fled on foot along the nearby railway line."

Mashiane said they were investigating cases of house robbery and murder. No arrests have been made.

Durban family brutally murdered

Durban - Police were investigating the possibility that the intruders who brutally murdered a senior attorney and his family in their Durban home were known to them, police said on Saturday.

Inspector Michael Read said there were no signs of forced entry into the home of Naren Sham, his wife Meera, both 56 and their 20-year-old son Kavir. The family were at their Dulwish Road home in the upmarket area of Greyville at 21:00 on Friday when intruders apparently confronted them.

"The father and son were found with multiple stab wounds to their body and the wife was found with her throat slit", he said. Police were unable to say if any household items were taken.

On Saturday, the house was cordoned off and police were gathering evidence at the scene. SABC news reported that a domestic worker was tied up during the attack but police said that there was no domestic worker at the house.

300 held for paramilitary training

Durban - At least 300 people were arrested near the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal for paramilitary activities on Friday, police said. Police spokesperson Superintendent Jay Naicker said that the 300 were part of a group called the South African Unintegrated Forces group and had been training at a camp called the Mlaba Camp.

The arrests were undertaken early on Friday and those arrested were taken to the Mahlabatini police station. He said they were expected to appear in court on Monday charged with contravening the Criminal Law Second Amendment Act of 1992 which prohibits the training of people for "the conducting of any military, paramilitary or similar operation".

On Wednesday the Mercury newspaper reported that there were as many as 600 former Inkatha Freedom Party self-protection unit members undergoing military training at the camp.

Cop held for R4m stolen goods

Johannesburg - Six men have been arrested in connection with stolen goods worth over R4m, Mpumalanga police said on Saturday. Spokeperson Leonard Hlathi said the six, including a police officer were arrested in Mpumalanga, North West and Gauteng on Thursday.

"A total of 18 men robbed a truck at Ram Courier, Witbank on August 19. While the truck was reversing into the depot, the men, some in police uniforms, came running into the yard and held staff at gunpoint."

Hlathi said boxes of cellphones, t- shirts, and laptops from the warehouse were taken by the suspects. One of the escort personnel, who were accompanying the truck, was shot and wounded during the robbery. The truck driver was arrested as it was discovered that he was allegedly part of the robbery, Hlathi said. Twelve men were still at large and six would appear in Witbank Magistrate's Court on Monday.

Blacks digging up corpses, stealing coffins & body parts

A family in Pietermaritzburg buried a 7-year-old boy this week thinking he would rest in peace. But now police are searching for them to tell them his grave has been dug up and his coffin stolen for resale.

The body parts snatchers who used to raid mortuaries are now digging up coffins, according to police. With coffins worth as much as R12 000, it pays to resell them, say undertakers. Criminals are digging up graves and taking the coffins after removing the bodies.

Two men were charged with violating graves this week when they were arrested by undercover detectives from Alexandra Road Detective Field Unit under the command of Senior Superintendent Chris Wiles. The men had allegedly stolen the coffin of a 7-year-old boy buried on Tuesday.

Wiles said his detectives had received a tip-off that two grave-diggers from Entembeni Cemetery in Lincoln Meade wanted to sell a used coffin. After he obtained permission from the Director of Public Prosecutions, two undercover agents approached the grave-diggers.

"On Wednesday, our informers were offered the coffin of a 7-year-old child buried the day before. Our detectives went to the graveyard and approached workers there.

"They said they were looking for a burial site, as someone in their family had died and they had a problem with the cost of a coffin. They were told a coffin was available for R2 500. They had already dug out the coffin, reburied the corpse and hidden the coffin in the toilet," said Wiles.

He said they would investigate whether such theft was common and look into the possible theft of body parts. Wiles said the Organised Crime Unit would be called in to help because he believed the incident was not isolated. The parents of the child whose coffin was stolen have yet to be informed of the incident. Police attempts to contact them have failed.

Midlands SAPS spokesperson Inspector Joey Jeevan said the two grave-diggers would appear in the Pietermaritzburg magistrate's court on Monday. Undertakers said they had been forced to stop displaying coffins in their windows to discourage break-ins.

"We know coffins are being stolen from graves, because some families tell us they have already sorted out the coffins. When we ask about price and details, they tell us they bought one from someone for R2 000 or R3 000 because they were used," said an undertaker who did not want to be named.

Grave-diggers approached at various cemeteries in Pietermaritzburg said they had heard of similar incidents. "There are times when we come to work in the morning and we can see a grave has been tampered with. But we don't dig to see if anything has been removed. Also, people come to us and offer us money to remove a coffin. We don't, but we know others who do," said one grave-digger.

Earlier this year, the Tribune reported that body parts were being stolen from corpses at mortuaries. At the time, right eyes and sex organs had been stolen from two women, and a right eye had been taken from the corpse of a man at an Edendale mortuary.

Boy killed for cellphone

Johannesburg - A 13-year-old boy was stabbed to death and another was sexually assaulted, allegedly by a 17-year-old-boy, in Port Elizabeth on Friday, Eastern Cape police said.

Spokesperson Captain Sandra Van Rensburg said that two boys were on their way to Settlers Park Primary School when the teenager allegedly confronted them in a park.

"He threatened the two boys with a knife and sexually assaulted one of them. After those two boys got away, the teenager then confronted another group of three boys. He stabbed one of them to death and took his cellphone," she said.

According to police the boys ran and were helped by a good Samaritan. Van Rensburg said the Samaritan chased the teenager and made a citizen's arrest. "We are very grateful to this man who did not turn a blind eye and actually helped." The 17-year-old would be taken to a juvenile facility and was charged with murder, armed robbery and sexual assault.

R200k reward for cop killer

Durban - KwaZulu-Natal police are offering a R200 000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the men who gunned down a senior policeman in Durban's KwaMashu area.

"In order to speed up the investigation, police in KZN are offering a reward of up to R200 000 for any information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible of the murder of Superintendent Frans Bothma," police spokesperson Jay Naicker said on Wednesday.

Naicker said 44-year-old Bothma and two colleagues were on crime prevention duties in KwaMashu's K Section on Tuesday night. "According to the surviving police officials... they noticed a black VW Polo that aroused their suspicions. They immediately turned around and pulled up behind the suspects' vehicle," Naicker said.

The three policemen approached the vehicle and noticed three men inside. "The policemen instructed the occupants to get out of the vehicle." One of the occupants alighted and shot the officer with a high-calibre rifle. Police returned fire and the suspects sped off in the car.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said the officer was declared dead at the scene. Naicker said Bothma was a seasoned officer with 26 years service. He was stationed at the Inanda police station and was a team leader with the provincial task team.

"Work colleagues are in shock. They described him as a passionate policeman with extremely good people skills. He was a hard worker as well as a mentor and leader," Naicker said. The case was handed to the Durban Organised Crime Unit. Police said the gunmen were still at large, but they were confident of making arrests soon.

Naicker said any person who has information that may assist in the investigation is requested to contact Captain Keith Hodget on 082 556 4360.

Muslim cleric rapes two boys in mosque

Johannesburg - A second boy has reported being raped, allegedly by a Muslim priest at a Germiston mosque, Johannesburg's East Rand police said on Friday. The 10-year-old told police of the rape on Thursday, after another boy, aged 12, came forward on Wednesday, said Captain Steady Nawa.

The 49-year-old maulana (priest), who had been working at the mosque for three months, was arrested on Thursday. The two boys were attending a religious lecture on Islam when the man asked them to sleep over at the mosque on August 25, Nawa said. The boys alleged that the man watched movies with them on and also asked them to take a shower with him, said Nawa.

"The boys also alleged that they saw the Maulana mix something like dagga and smoked it. He gave it to the 10-year-old to smoke, but the 12-year-old refused to smoke it, but he was forced to," said Nawa. After smoking the "joint" the maulana allegedly ordered the boys to undress while he also stripped naked. He allegedly ordered the 12-year-old to "play" with his genitals and then allegedly raped him in front of the 10-year-old. He also ordered them to wash after he allegedly raped both of them, he said.

On August 29 the maulana allegedly promised to give them R20 in exchange for their silence, but never did. Nawa said the boys informed a friend about the incident, who advised them to tell their parents. The maulana was expected to appear in Germiston Magistrate's Court on Monday on two charges of rape.

Women thought the last victory of equality was to make men more 'sensitive'. The bitter irony, says this male writer in a piece that will infuriate the opposite sex (including his wife Liz Jones), is women don't like wimps after all...

At a dinner party recently, I encountered the depressingly familiar sight of a dynamic thirty- something woman accompanied by a nerdy male sidekick that she'd browbeaten into proposing to her.

The mismatch in power was obvious. She was successful, ambitious and confident; he was a diffident, overweight, shrinking violet who measured every word he spoke in case he said anything remotely contentious that might offend her.

On her wedding finger was the most enormous, glittering engagement ring. A mutual friend later told me she'd initially been presented with a less garish but more exquisite diamond but had told her fiancÈ to return it to the shop and get her something bigger.

That huge diamond was his declaration of surrender in the sex war. But I didn't feel sorry for the stupid sap; he should have been man enough to tell her to get lost and find some other dummy.

Instead, he'd been sucker-punched into a lifetime of nagging and neglect, and looking at his bossy wife-to-be parading her huge rock, I felt a shiver of pre-emptive schadenfreude.

Her smug smile might have given the impression that her glossy-magazine-inspired life was all going to plan, but I could see the tragedy to come.

One day she'll realise how dull and unfulfilling it is to have a man who doesn't answer back, who offers no challenge or danger - but by then she'll be over the hill and stuck with him for fear of being left on the shelf. Sadly, this is the state of many marriages today.

Back in the Nineties, emboldened by the successes of feminism, women sought to slay the dragon of patriarchy by turning men into ridiculous cissies who would cry with them through chick-flicks and then cook up a decent lasagne.

Suddenly, women wanted to drive home their newfound equality by moulding men to be more like them.

This velvet revolution was reflected in a series of broader cultural changes. After decades of uncompromising movie heroes like Marlon Brando and Clint Eastwood, we were asked to fall for stuttering, floppy-haired fops like Hugh Grant; touchy-feely and hopelessly embarrassed around women.

No doubt at the time, millions of misguided single women thought that having a man who could feel their pain and emote for Britain was a Good Thing.

Now, over a decade later, women are waking up to the fact that these men are drippy, sexless bores. The feminisation of men hasn't produced the well-rounded uber-males women were hoping for.

Instead, women are now lumped with flabby invertebrates, little more than doormats, whom they secretly despise but are too proud to admit it.

Rather than partnership, professional women tend to seek dominance in a relationship. They map their lives out early on and pursue their dream of 'having it all' with cold-blooded ruthlessness.

Young women have a crystal-clear agenda: they want the career, the wardrobe, the smartly furnished house, the 4x4 and the cute kids they'll ferry in it to expensive schools. No man is going to get in their way; and the men they choose for themselves are pliant and feeble enough to facilitate that programme.

Concentrating so much energy on work and family matters requires these women to pick a man who is predictable and secure, who won't upset the apple cart by pursuing dreams and instincts of his own.

These are cardboard cut-out men who gush with empathy whenever their wives and girlfriends need to dump their professional stresses and female angst on them: weak and soulless men who haven't the guts to make a mark themselves, who take the passenger seat in their women's juggernaut journey to post-feminist Nirvana.

But having ticked off the various items on their life checklist, women are left with a nagging sense of dissatisfaction. Where was the drama? Where was the passion? Where was the stimulation and growth?

It was all forsaken for an anodyne, materialistic shopping spree that is a Good Thing. ultimately a poor substitute for a real life. These women consider themselves to be alpha-females, but they are nothing but a pathetic sham.

A true Amazon couldn't stand the company of a supplicant male, let alone marry one. Real alpha-women are the ones who can more than hold their own with an alpha-man.

Deep down, women love men who stand up to them, who won't be pushed around. They love men who will look them in the eye and tell them to shut up when their hormonal bickering has become too much.

They love men who will draw a line in the sand and walk out on them when they've had enough. They love men who know their own minds and are man enough to stick to their guns.

I'm always telling my wife, the writer Liz Jones, to shut up. She gets into a prissy huff about it, but I know she respects me for not indulging her neuroticism. Long ago, I realised it is unhealthy for a man to embroil himself in arguments with women.

While men want an argument to make sense and have a rational conclusion, women solely want the argument itself: it's a pressure valve for their emotions, and once they get started there is no stopping them.

I have a very low boredom threshold; I can't bear having protracted discussions about where my wife and I 'are going'. Nor can I bear to listen to the gossipy, highly detailed 'He said, she said' monologues that women drift into when telling you about their day.

I deal with these elements of the female personality with impassive indifference. People might call me a sexist pig, but I am the opposite. I love women, and I love my wife because she is brilliant and incredibly strong.

I am a true feminist, because I only want to be with a powerful and capable woman. No sexist could cope with having a wife as intelligent and independent as mine.

Our relationship would never have worked had I been an effete New Man, desperately wanting to sympathise with the female condition.

My wife would have grown to loathe me for my fawning cowardice. She is a warrior and she needs to be with someone who is a match for her. Knowing the limits of what I will deal with in a relationship, I maintain my self-respect and, accordingly, gain hers.

Men are now generally terrified of women. They hold their tongues for fear of being misinterpreted as sexist; they constantly attempt to secondguess their partner in order to avoid giving offence.

They preen themselves with groaning shelves full of beauty products so they won't incur derision and scorn. They suppress their masculinity and present themselves as cuddly Mr Nice Guys, and won't project self- confidence in case it's regarded as unreconstructed machismo.

This backfiring feminist conspiracy has, of course, developed hand in hand with the march of raging political correctness in Britain. The two have combined like some potent chemical reaction to explode in the faces of a generation of women who thought that a 'moulded' man would make for a desirable one.

In recent years, men have been trained like circus seals to be inoffensive to women, and no longer know how to entice them and turn them on.

But women secretly long for a man with swagger, who is cocky and selfassured and has the cheek to stand up them and make fun of their feminine foibles.

They long for the rakish charm of a man who knows there's a whole ocean of fish out there, who isn't afraid of being himself in case he is rejected.

The truth is, a real man doesn't care what any woman thinks of him. He doesn't care what anyone thinks of him: he answers solely to his spirit.

Real men don't pretend or even try to understand women. They simply love them for being the mysterious, capricious creatures that they are. And they don't take them too seriously, either. They know the vicissitudes of the female mind, its constant insecurities and the fluctuations in mood.

Rather than pander to them, they simply watch them drift by like so many clouds on the horizon. They don't get entangled in a woman's feelings and listen to her prattling on and on until she's talked herself out. Such strong and stoic men are exactly what women need to anchor themselves amid the chaos of their emotions.

Sometimes my wife bemoans my detachment and laissez-faire attitude to our marriage and wishes I were more wrapped up in her. I tell her she would soon get bored of it, because men who put women on a pedestal can't make love to them in the way that women want.

A man who is too in awe of his woman isn't going to tear her blouse open and ravish her on the couch; he isn't going to pull her hair and whisper profanities in her ear. Whenever my marriage is at a crisis point, and my wife's ego and mine are jostling for a position of supremacy, we inevitably have strenuous, battling sex.

My wife is older and more successful than I am, but the bedroom has always been the arena in which I have brought her down to earth.

The female orgasm is the natural mechanism by which men assert dominion over women: a man who appreciates this can negotiate whatever difficulties arise in his relationships with them.

Last Christmas, my wife threw me out after discovering I'd been cheating on her. On the night we got back together, I made strong, passionate love to her. Unfaithful as I'd been, I was not going to let her have me over a barrel for the rest of our marriage. I needed to keep a sense of self and not allow her to mire me in guilt and a desperate quest of forgiveness.

I needed to let her know what she would be missing if we broke up for ever. I gave her a manful bravura performance that night, and at the height of her passion, I asked her: 'Who's the boss?'

The question threw her. Initially she wouldn't give me a reply, but I enticed it from her. 'You are,' she finally gasped. 'You are!' I am a very difficult man to be with. I know I have caused my wife great pain and anxiety. But she is an adult, and ultimately it is wholly her choice whether she wants to be with me or not - I cannot be anyone other than myself.

I don't believe in working on relationships and making artificial efforts to give them substance. I believe in people being themselves and following their hearts towards whatever destiny lies before them.

When women choose to be with New Men, they are choosing a life that will be only half-lived. I think a lot of them are finally waking up to that fact. Relationships between independent and assertive people will always be fraught with tensions, but they have enormous creative energy.

Despite the many problems my wife and I have endured, we have both come a long way since we first met six years ago.

We have challenged one another to grow - professionally, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. This would never have happened had she flaked out and gone for a softer option in her choice of partner.

Bring back the real men, girls. You might just remember why you loved them in the first place.

White defence against black crime is illegal

A few months ago, we reported on the black mugger who attacked a White family enjoying a Saturday afternoon stroll on a public beach, and stole an elderly woman's cellphone. Her son was able to catch the criminal, tackling him and wrestling the phone from him. The black savage pulled a knife but was disarmed and punched by the woman's brave son.

Incredibly, black police who was summoned to the scene refused to arrest the mugger, and instead arrested the woman, as well as her son and husband for "assaulting the black criminal". The hapless family was detained in a police cell for the weekend, and only released on the Monday morning and all charges withdrawn.

On 20 July 2008, a similar thing happened in Pretoria. In a stunning repeat of the first incident of a few months ago, a young White woman leaving a restaurant was attacked by a simian, who snatched her cell phone. Stefan Kloppers who rushed to her aid, was able to tackle the subhuman scumbag and sntach the phone away from him. He chivalrously handed the shaken women back her cellphone and got into his car to leave, at which point a gang of 5 coon "security guards" who witnessed the whole thing, yet refused to intervene, blocked him from leaving.

Instead, they summoned the (black) police, who immediately arrested the brave young White guy for "assault". They refused to arrest or even look in the direction of the coon criminal, and took Stefan off to police cells, where he spent the next two days locked up.

Clearly this is becoming a racial pattern, and we can safely deduce that

1) Whites have absolutely NO recourse to the law;
2) any resistance to protect or retake your stolen property or life is illegal and
3) untouchable black criminals can do whatever they like, with the overt blessing of police and "security" outfits who in the good old days were supposed to protect people from criminals.

I don't know how much clearer this message can possibly be made - Whites are second class citizens in their own country, de facto and de jure SLAVES, and are graciously allowed to exist purely for the benefit of rapacious, self-entitled black parasites, who plunder through legal or illegal means the wealth, lives and possessions of these powerless Whites...

'I won't help a victim again'

Pretoria - Stefan Kloppers rushed to help a woman, tackling a thief who had stolen her cellphone. But now this hero is being charged with assault with the intention of inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Kloppers, 34, of Cullinan was arrested within minutes of his brave deed on July 20. He was held for two days in a police cell before he was released on bail. "Never again will I help a victim of crime in SA," said Kloppers after his second appearance in court.

Kloppers is being prosecuted even though police have still not taken a statement from the "victim", the suspected thief. Police have also not arrested the suspected thief for stealing the phone. Kloppers had that night been having dinner with friends at a restaurant in Hatfield. They were on their way to his car when they saw an informal parking guard harass the woman.

"I thought he wanted money and walked on. Suddenly the woman yelled and said he had her cellphone. I chased after him and tackled him like I did at school when I was playing rugby," said Kloppers. He got into his car and saw how bystanders came closer and kicked the thief. As he left the parking area, he was stopped by five security guards who told him to stay there as they had seen "exactly" what had happened.

Police were called and Kloppers was taken to the police station where he thought he would make a statement about the incident. Instead he was arrested. His legal representative objected to the State postponing the case again for a statement from the alleged thief. The court heard that police had not been able to find the suspected thief.

When the court was told that the so-called victim was also a suspected thief, Magistrate Christopher Chokwe said, "When someone steals your phone, you don't attack him. You call the police."

I found myself some time ago under social circumstances in a group that included an angry radical feminist, which is to say a radical feminist. Out of nowhere that I remember, she announced, “Men are sexist pigs.” Such assertions are par for the species.

It was not easy to know how to respond. She was clearly attacking. You don’t insult a group some of whose members are present unless you mean to offend. While I may have doubts about, say, the legitimacy of psychotherapy, I do not say while dining with a practitioner, “Therapists are swinish frauds.” While “sexist” might be regarded with sufficient straining as a political category, “pig” is a schoolyard insult. The comment was simply ill-bred. So are feminists.

I could have responded, “Women are useless bitches.” The problem is that I don’t think that women are either useless or bitches. A few are, yes. A few men are sexist pigs, and I don’t like them either. True, I don’t care for some of the attitudes that seem to characterize a lot of American women. This is far thinking that women are pigs or bitches.

Why do feminists go out of their way to be disagreeable? Much of human behavior is templated. Certain kinds of personality do certain things. They can't help it. Common templates are the True Believer, the Hater, and the Victim. The salient point is that the template comes first, the content second and sometimes almost as an afterthought. They are like empty forms waiting to be filled in.

The True Believer needs to believe in something truly and, really, doesn’t much care what: Christianity, evolution, Islam, Marxism or market forces. He needs the certitude. He doesn’t need to hate anyone, however. For example, evolutionists do not.

The Hater does need to hate something. Sometimes the choice is obvious, as when a black in the slums comes to hate Whitey. Sometimes the choice is less explicable, as when a man who has suffered no direct or clear damage at the hands of Jews becomes virulently anti-Semitic. A defining characteristic of the Hater is that maintaining the grounds of his (or, most assuredly, her) hatred is far more important than truth, reason, or kindness. The hatred is an end in itself, an identity, the core of his (or her) being. All thought and balance vanish in the insistence on painting the hated in as bad a light as possible.

The Victim believes that all of his miseries and failures are the fault of others. Victims are often Haters as well. Feminists combine the two.

The need to hate is different from the possession of an opinion. A reasonable person might believe, for example, that Jews exert too much influence over American foreign policy and various domestic policies, but also grant without demur that Jews had contributed much to the economy, the sciences, and the arts. The details could be debated, but the position is not that of a Hater. The Hater in anti-Semitic form cannot go for ten minutes in private conversation without adverting with hostility to various crimes and conspiracies which he attributes to Jews, and can never concede that Jews every, however inadvertently, have done anything good. He is obsessive about it.

So are feminists.

A feminist sees men exactly as anti-Semites see Jews. This is because she is an anti-Semite—the same template, the same bottle but with different wine. She has a more hair-trigger anger (“Men are sexist pigs”) because she can get away with it, a more bellicose incivility for the same reason, but the same (watch, and see whether I am right) lack of humour, obsessiveness, and the characteristic basing of her personality on the hatred.

Haters seldom know much about those they hate. It doesn’t matter to them, and just gets in the way. As anti-Semites are clueless about Jews, so feminists are clueless about men. Anti-Semites know that Jews rub their hands and say “heheheh” and want to destroy Western civilization. Feminists know that men don’t have feelings and want to oppress women, and hurt them, and degrade them. Yet they (both) think they know the hated enemy. They both pour forth half-truths, thudding clichés, carefully selected facts, and abject foolishness, and both are blankly unable to see the other side’s point of view or to concede it any virtue at all.

I have known only a few such feminists well, though I have read many. They have struck me, without exception that comes to mind, as fitting a peculiar mould: bright, very hostile and combative, but physically timid and pampered, hothouse flowers really, usually from fairly moneyed families and often Ivy or semi-Ivy schools. Often they have done little outside of feminism and would be helpless out of an urban setting. They have no idea how anything around them works—what a cam lobe is, how a refrigerator makes things cold, or how a file-allocation table might be arranged. Their degrees run to ideologizable pseudo subjects such as sociology, psychology, or Women’s Studies. They seem isolated from most of life.

None of this is characteristic of women in general. I used to belong to a group called Capitol Divers, of Washington, DC. About a third of the members I’ll guess were women. We dove the deep wrecks off North Carolina, chartered the Belize Aggressor for a week near Central America, and so on. It wasn’t lightweight diving. Sometimes we were in the open Atlantic in seas a lot higher than recommended, or ninety feet down at night on a wreck or, I remember, at 135 in the Blue Hole of Belize. (Cap Divers was a bit of a cowboy outfit.)

The women were fine divers, treated as equals by the men because they in fact were equals. Nobody thought about it. In a lot of aggregate time with them over the years, I never heard a single, “Men are sexist pigs.” The pattern is one that I’ve noticed anecdotally but widely. Women who are good at things that men respect are respected by men, and they tend to like men because they have things in common. They are not templated neurotics. Feminists are.

If you do not believe that haters are all the same people, wrestling with internal demons rather than trying to solve real problems, make a point of talking to them or, failing that, reading them. Remember though that a hater is not someone who recognizes an unpleasant truth about a particular group. A woman who says that men are much more given to violence is stating an obvious fact. So is a white who recognizes that low academic achievement among blacks is a problem. Neither is a hater.

No. You want the ones with the grinding all-encompassing hostility. “The kikes are destroying America.” “The niggers are destroying America.” “Men are sexist pigs.” These people are fascinating. Talk to them. Care is needed, particularly with feminists, to keep them from exploding before you can conduct an examination. But do it. Note that many are well educated. They can be polished. But the fundamental difference between a radical feminist and a Jew baiter is…is….

We, who make up 92% of the global population, feel that we can no longer accept the great disparity between your success and our abject failure. The solution to this inequality should be obvious to all concerned.

We are planning to invade your ancestral homelands, little by little, and to facilitate this, we have the full cooperation of your controlled media and government, academia, and law enforcement organizations. While we, personally, do not control any of these entities ourselves, we are profiting endlessly from the crypto-Marxist system put in place many decades ago by an ethnic "fifth column" which operates with complete impunity at all levels of your political, academic, and media culture. The Out Group, who maintains a sense of racial cohesiveness hitherto unknown among even the most tightly-knit of all dispersed human peoples, maintains a grip on the press and electronic media that is nearly monopolistic in its all-encompassing reach. Since they are so thoroughly in control of these organs for the dissemination of propaganda, they are in the best position to spread hostility against the White peoples of Europe and America, inciting the minority against the majority in these lands: Black against White, Latino against White, Asian against White, Arab against White, Indian against White, and so on, and so forth.

Slavery Lessons the Anti-White Establishment Will Not Teach Our Children

Christian Slaves, Muslim Masters: White Slavery in the Mediterranean, the Barbary Coast, and Italy, 1500-1800

In the anti-white mania which has gripped modern Britain, the Atlantic Slave Trade is to be given wide prominence in schools from this term onwards—but the million Europeans who were enslaved by Muslims in North Africa between 1530 and 1780 will be ignored.

The untold story of the million whites enslaved by non-whites is covered in a new book by Robert Davis, professor of history at Ohio State University. He developed a unique methodology to calculate the number of white Christians who were enslaved along Africa’s Barbary Coast, arriving at much higher slave population estimates than any previous studies had found.
Most previously estimated slave counts have thus tended to be in the thousands, or at most in the tens of thousands. Davis, by contrast, has calculated that between 1 million and 1.25 million European Christians were captured and forced to work in North Africa from the 16th to 18th centuries.

Davis’s new estimates appear in the book Christian Slaves, Muslim Masters: White Slavery in the Mediterranean, the Barbary Coast, and Italy, 1500-1800 (Palgrave Macmillan).

“Enslavement was a very real possibility for anyone who travelled in the Mediterranean, or who lived along the shores in places like Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, and even as far north as England and Iceland.”

From 1500 to 1650, when trans-Atlantic slaving was still in its infancy, more white Christian slaves were probably taken to Barbary than black African slaves to the Americas, according to Davis.
“One of the things that both the public and many scholars have tended to take as given is that slavery was always racial in nature—that only blacks have been slaves. But that is not true,” Davis said. “We cannot think of slavery as something that only white people did to black people.”

Pirates (called corsairs) from cities along the Barbary Coast in north Africa—cities such as Tunis and Algiers—would raid ships in the Mediterranean and Atlantic, as well as seaside villages to capture men, women and children. The impact of these attacks was devastating—France, England, and Spain each lost thousands of ships, and long stretches of the Spanish and Italian coasts were almost completely abandoned by their inhabitants.

Although hundreds of thousands of Christian slaves were taken from Mediterranean countries, Davis noted, the effects of Muslim slave raids was felt much further away: it appears, for example, that through most of the 17th century the English lost at least 400 sailors a year to the slavers.
Even Americans were not immune. For example, one American slave reported that 130 other American seamen had been enslaved by the Algerians in the Mediterranean and Atlantic between 1785 and 1793.

Using the same methodology, Davis has estimated as many as 475,000 additional slaves were taken in the previous and following centuries. The result is that between 1530 and 1780 there were almost certainly 1 million and quite possibly as many as 1.25 million white, European Christians enslaved by the Muslims of the Barbary Coast. Davis said his research into the treatment of these slaves suggests that, for most of them, their lives were every bit as difficult as that of slaves in America. “As far as daily living conditions, the Mediterranean slaves certainly didn’t have it better,” he said.

While African slaves did gruelling labour on sugar and cotton plantations in the Americas, European Christian slaves were often worked just as hard and as lethally—in quarries, heavy construction, and above all rowing the corsair galleys themselves. Davis said his findings suggest that this invisible slavery of European Christians deserves more attention from scholars.

“We have lost the sense of how large enslavement could loom for those who lived around the Mediterranean and the threat they were under,” he said. “Slaves were still slaves, whether they were black or white, and whether they suffered in America or North Africa.”

Dear readers, allow me a bit of WSAS blogger self-indulgence. Ever since The Real Realist started "Why South Africa Is Crap" back in July 2006, its been an interesting ride. TRR (a pro journalist whose identity has been one of our most closely guarded secrets) managed to accumulate 40 000 hits in three short months, until the blog was censored by Google. I came on board somewhere in September - initially just to help out while he went on an extended overseas trip but as the blogging bug bit, quickly found that it is hugely gratifying.

Living in the Azanian shit hole, witnessing the outrageous injustices, the mind-numbing cruelty, the vicious lies and slander against our White kinsfolk on every level of society invariably fills any reasonable person with so much disgust, seething anger and an urge to get even, so finding an outlet in blogging is almost akin to lancing a pus-filled boil. What came as a pleasant surprise was the realisation that I wasn't alone. Thousands of equally disgusted readers flock to this site (we're heading to almost 1.4 million hits since December 2006) to lance their own boils, and continue to do so at the rate of about 4 000 hits daily.

Its becoming quite clear that the pendulum of public opinion is rapidly swinging to the right. This is a worldwide phenomenon, driven by the opportunity of free speech afforded by the unregulated internet. As people's eyes are opening to years of relentless MSM lies & propaganda, the press is anxiously wringing their manicured paws over the "rise of racism" and even the chief pederast of that bastion of paediphilia, the Catholic church, made clucking noises against resurgent awakening to the truth.

Over the past two years we've taken on some excellent writers and sadly also lost a few due to petty infighting and infantile bullshit - writing a blog such as this is not for intellectual weaklings or the easily offended. We've even had extreme bloggers we had to endlessly censor and eventually kick off - one loser who as it turned out was a full-blown neo-Nazi (complete with swastika tattoos) but who amazingly enough had no scruples in entertaining she-boon crack whores (I kid you not) to satisfy his interracial sexual urges when the whim took him. Others who saw WSAS as an opportunity to sow divisions amongst the various White ethnicities, causing us incalculable harm.

Some felt we were just a little bit too honest, too extreme and should "tone things down". Older readers will recall the raging debates about whether we should "tone it down", with protagonists mistakenly arguing that this blog should focus on ingratiating itself with those millions of concerned overseas readers sitting at the ready to flock to our aid when uhuru broke out. For a while we actually did tone it down, only to see our hits going into single digits and our readers losing interest.

Interestingly, those philanthropic, supportive overseas readers never materialised as promised - in fact, we saw more comments along the lines of "screw you Saffer Whitey - you deserve all the rape, murder and torture you're now getting for what you did to the blacks during Apartheid". Only the seriously deluded and utterly naive still have phantasms over legions of European & American armies rushing here to save White skins when that inevitability presents itself.

As the saying goes, imitation is the greatest form of flattery. One enterprising blogger was so convinced of the success of a "sanitised" version of SA Sucks, that he launched a copycat blog in August last year and almost daily for a few months, placed link bait comments to our own posts. I checked in on the "My South Africa" blog a few times, and noticed he finally the in the towel in November last year. Four months of furious blogging, and -ag shame- only 568 hits to show for it. Oh well, so much for treading on eggshells and being too shit-scared to offend the coons...

Others also launched SA Sucks ripoffs, even registering domains with our name. The owner of South Africa Rocks (the Cape based knob-gobbler Boshoff) spent a few grand registering www.southafricasucks.com which is now deregistered. Some Australian clown registered www.southafricasucks.net and expended a massive effort in cloning SA Sucks, only to abandon it some months later. A few months ago, desperate (why are they always so desperate?) white guilt trippers created the "Apartheid Apology" blog - designed to counter the guiltless, racially proud rants as published on SA Sucks but as is thankfully inevitable, it too died an early death.

Then we've had to deal with the perennial write-in campaigns of notorious cyber-stalkers like Inkonkoni (real name Susan) and more recently, the Jewish PHD student Greg Berckenko. Greg (who I'm told at age 37 is what is known as a "professional student" - an overgrown teenager and psychologically stunted adult who is so fixated with college life and forever remaining at the emotional age of 20, that the prospect of actually graduating and entering a working career is too daunting to contemplate) is well known to readers although of late he's been rather quiet in our comments section. Greg is actually not a bad person - he means well, and I welcome his comments as it affords us the opportunity of debunking the myths and propaganda a mediocre US college education has brainwashed him with.

A relative newcomer is some Africoon flatnose who writes under the pseudonym of "KOOS" and has an unhealthy fixation with the genitalia of Boer trekkers. Needless to say, I take great pleasure in rejecting his rambling garbage, as I do the other cowardly, spineless losers who do their best to defile our comments pages.

A hoary old joke still doing the rounds is: how do you know when you're winning an argument with a liberal? 'When he starts calling you a racist.' This is so typical of the tactics of those who hate and resent the content of SA Sucks. Initially they will hurl reams of pseudo-scientific "facts" and bleeding heart bullshit at you. Anyone armed with the twin guiding lights of common sense and truth will easily destroy the lies, false premises and ludicrous assumptions of the multi-culturalist Left. It is usually at this point that they resort to the Ad Hominem attack. Leftists know that their ridiculous mythology cannot stand up to the burning light of truth and reason, so instead they attack the character and person of their protagonist.

However, if that protagonist is an unknown, faceless and anonymous entity (like yours truly) they will wail, screech and tear their hair out in impotent frustration. The latest effort of our sworn enemies (OK, let's throw these losers a bone) comes in the form of the excruciatingly silly "Kill All Whiteys" blog. This banal little outpost of coon-loving excreta models itself on an inverted form of SA Sucks. Recently a reader alerted me to the rancid blathering of an imposter calling himself "Uhuru Guru" which even sports the UG avatar.

Dear reader, please take note that apart from a cursory glance recently, I never read this pathetic blog, let alone comment there. It's a false flag operation and is indicative of how desperate Themba AKA Keith AKA "the Rooster" is. In truth, I'm actually elated that someone's gone to so much trouble to emulate my blogging persona (complete even with links to fake SA Sucks blogs). In the extremely unlikely eventuality that I'm ever dragged off to answer charges of "racist incitement" at some Stalinist Africoon "equality court" the stupid flatnoses will have to prove my identity beyond any doubt. With several Uhuru Gurus running around in cyberspace, these idiots have just done me a huge favour and created the "reasonable doubt" that makes it so much more difficult...thanks assholes!

If I had a rand for every death threat received, every vile email in which I'm either burned at the stake, savagely sodomised by Sambo or in which the rape, torture and murder of my family is painstakingly described, I' be a millionaire by now. Make no mistake, the murderous savages masquerading as a legitimate government will have no qualms in having their enemies taken out by any means necessary. I've witnessed with my own eyes how the pitifully few White men with the means and ability to pose a serious security risk to this regime was dealt with - framed on false charges, with their senior (White) SAPS witnesses murdered in what was made to seem like a failed hijacking. The sad reality is that our country is forever lost and the decline accelerating faster than even the most cynical pessimist had imagined. With Zuma and the communists taking power next year, the table is being set for the most oppressive hell the world has ever seen - combining the worst aspects of anti-White racist Afro-Nazism with the worst aspects of communist entitlement. As always, I urge you to get out while you still can - five years from now, we will look back on these times as "the good old days". Zuma's gang will make Tarboy Mbeggi look saintly and benevolent by comparison...
